“Reverie Siam is a concept Resort inspired by the cultural fusion that occurred in the early part of the 20th century. Circa 1925, The Great War has been over for nearly a decade. Prohibition in the States has given birth to Speakeasies with musicians such as Bessie Smith, Duke Ellington and Louis Armstrong providing the soundtrack. New advances in transportation allow those hungry for adventure and wealth to try their luck in new Lands, in our case Southeast Asian Lands. For those fortunate enough to be successful an easy decadent existence follows. The fashions and trends they import with them merge into the local cultures and an intoxicating blend ensues. We celebrate this blend, choosing to remember as if by the dreams of those who might have participated long ago, in those heady days of romance, adventure and elegance. ”

We are a family of four, grown kids. This is our first week in Thailand and unfortunately we only had 3 days to spare for our visit in PaI. All the hotels so far, were very welcoming and esthetic, but either some services are missing, or the place needs service, following the COVID19 difficulties. Reverie Siam manages to keep perfection as well as having lovely settings, beautifully designed, amazing menu and delightful atmosphere! A true gem

On out Bike tour we stayed in this lovely Boutique resort, unfortunately only one night. The rooms are very comfortable and creatively designed and decorated and the breakfast in the open restaurant was really generous and delicious. The Resort offers an electric golf buggy shuttle service to Pai walking street that is buzzing with activity in the evening. The only small problems was the TV signal was really bad but it did not affect my otherwise excellent experience of this Resort also located next to a small river. The Resort also has two well designed pools, one with salt water but too cold to experience this time of the year. Maybe heated pool one day!? Thank you for this very nice overnight and comfortable stay. Service staff in restaurant was charming and efficient. The Chinese lady at the front office was nice but a touch over outgoing!

What a pleasant surprise this gem of a hotel was! From the moment my family, consisting of an aunt and mother in their later 70's and my better half and I, stepped into the lobby we felt we had left our worries behind and found ourselves in an oasis of tranquility. We were beautifully explained all we needed to know, led to our rooms through the perfect gardens and made to feel so welcomed. As an antiques lover I marveled at the furniture in the lounge and sat having a quiet gin and tonic looking onto the mountain range, whilst the ladies relaxed in the salt pool, they did love that! An hour watching the river life pass by was wonderful...I only wish we had had longer. Shuttles to the walking street are provided and we had the most amazing picnic a few kilometers into the paddy-fields arranged by the hotel, incredible treats and bubbles watching the sunset, what a perfect joy. We also loved the excursion that they arranged for us to the Quarry, the walk to the top is more than worth it..and the exercise did us all good after the delicious dinner the evening before!
Breakfast was plentiful and the options were diverse. It would be unfair to single out any member of staff personally as they were all so very attentive. We all agree that the Reverie Siam deserves all the accolades it is receiving and without question we recommend as the best hotel option in Pai and hope to return soon.

This boutique style hotel is set on the banks of river pai, The hotel architecture is of a colonial era, where a great deal of attention has been put into planning the layout of each room, there are musical instruments and books adorning the walls. The windows open out into glorious views of the mountains and gardens. The food is excellent in terms of quality and quantity, everything is homemade on the menu, with an interesting twist to many of the dishes.

After spending 3 nights at this hotel in 2017, we were looking forward to staying there again.
This is a well thought out resort, beautifully decorated and ideal for a relaxing stay.
We stayed at a family villa which gave us plenty of space to comfortably spend the first three nights they were open after the covid closure. Because of that, service was a little but patchy and the kitchen opening times were limited, with only breakfast and dinner being served.
Food is good (not amazing) however sensibly priced.
If it wasn't for the long windy road from Chiang Mai we would visit more often, but I'm sure we will be back soon.

When we came to Pai, we stayed at one of the lodgings near the walking street. That turned out to be much to loud when trying to go to sleep because screaming partyfolk would ravage the streets in to the small hours.
So, as we had rented a motorscooter we broardend our radius aurund the city center and stumbled across this gem of a hotel. The colonial style really catches the eye in almost all details. It was quiet, and staff were very nice, and unlike the usual thai hotel experiences, staff spoke and understood english very well.
It is not the least expensive place to stay at in Pai, but if you would like to splash out for a bit of style, cleanliness, and tranquility, this is the place! My fianceé said that you can never go wrong with a hotel room where the bathroom is larger than all the other rooms. So she was quickly convinced.
Should I return to Pai again, this will be my place of choice. I just hope that the daily wear&tear will me monitored and taken care of, which would be a shame to see this place get run down as with most hotels these days.

-I read the other reviews, and we found WiFi not to be of the quickest sort in any of the hotels we stayed at in Thailand. If it is so important to you, the tourist simcards are well worth the small investment, and we were never without reception thoughout our stay.

Beautiful setting and peaceful environment. Room is very clean, spacy and decorate with taste of retro. Services are rather poor. We didn’t have warm welcome. A lady who took us to the room gave an impression that she just did her job, she didn’t explain where are switches in the room. We came back at night and had to find them which was not an easy task in the dark.

There are only Thai tv channels so my husband used their WiFi to watch his English Channel on iPad. Next morning no more WiFi so we had to ask for. Our last morning was the same story.

These are far from “Best experience guaranteed” and “world luxury hotel award winner”

Showing enthusiasm at this moment would be more appreciated. Some more training and supervision may be a solution.

Dear Khun Chanyada, Thank you very much for your feedback. We are sincerely sorry that your service experience didn't meet your expectations and our normal standards. The past 2 years have been incredibly challenging for us, we have been forcibly closed due to government regulations on several occasions and we have spent many months without any guests at all, as a consequence of this our staff number was below that with which we normally operate, we have alternated between periods of zero occupancy and then sudden bursts of activity when the government launch promotions like T together, this has meant keeping the correct level of staff has been very difficult and at times we have been understaffed and the lack of service that you describe is a consequence of this. It is also the case that our WIFI system developed problems during this time however I am happy to say that it has been completely overhauled now and there is full high speed connectivity throughout the resort. In addition to which all televisions have been replaced with smart TVs and Netflix accounts to ensure there is no shortage of content for all nationalities to enjoy. We do hope you will consider trying us again now that we have returned to normal operation with a full staff body, I am fully confident we will be able to offer you the experience that you deserve and expect, please reach out to me personally in advance on seb@reveriesiam.com so I can arrange a personal welcome. If you do agree to try us again any time in the future, we will welcome you back with genuinely warm smiles to try and change your mind about us win your heart back. Warmest Regards

Really a spectacularly beautiful property. The pools, rooms, space by the river - it’s all amazing. Only things I can see to improve:

1. Pool loungers are welded in place (I think) so they are fixed to one position - can’t lie down. Not sure why!

2. Add some more veggie food to the menu - it is Pai after all.

3. Breakfast is underwhelming. Add pancakes and waffles and avocado on toast and some more filling dishes.

But overall can’t complain. Really a special place and will only stay here when I come back to Pai.

We spent two nights in total during our trip to Pai in early November. The room was meticulously arranged and we loved the comfortable bed and clean/spacious bathroom. Staff were super helpful and professional and on our second stay, we got lazy and just ordered room service. The food was fantastic. The complimentary tuk tuk service to town was great - hassle free from driving and looking for a parking slot in the small town.

If you are arriving into Pai by bus, the hotel is a couple of miles away and they will pick you up. if you are talking about arriving into Chiang Mai, Pai is about 3 to 4 hours away by taxi or bus. There was no Grab in Pai, but things change so you may want to search online to see if the service is going to be there when you reach there

Dear Caroline The villas are all decorated slightly differently although the concept is consistent. There are 2 basic room layout, Vila Family and couples Villa. Rooms 7,9,11 are Villa rooms 8,10,12 are Villa Family. Both layouts are the same size however 7,9,11 have fabric ceilings and a bed is facing the direction of the door and private garden, they are possibly a bit more romantic. 8,10,12 have the bed at right angles to the door with bed facing the TV, wall, the layout is more practical and makes space for a larger sofa which can be converted to a bed. Rooms 11 or 12 would be the most private as they are at the far end of the resort. If you want to drop me an email via the front desk asking for Seb I can reply with photos comparing the 2 room types. Look forward to seeing you in August.
