I had the pleasure of staying at the Sappraiwan Grand Hotel and Resort this past month (October) The hotel is very large and offers both a stay in a hotel room or a private bungalow. I did both but absolutely preferred the bungalow which was updated very nicely. I highly recommend it. But the best thing about my stay was... More

Absolutely beautiful hotel with very kind and helpful staff! Our room was very clean and cozy!! We participated in both the full day elephant program,as well as their whitewater rafting and they were the highlight of our trip to Thailand! Can't wait to come back to this little piece of heaven on earth!

We had a poor experience in the hotel with our family with 6 kids. The entire infrastructure of the hotel (rooms as well as restaurants and swimming pool) is out of date and not very clean. The staff is not able to communicate in English. The set-up of the hotel with the elephant center was promising, but the elephants were... More

This is a gem of a place in the forest not too far from Phitsanalok. Myself and my friend's 12 year old son were on a long haul drive from Ayutthaya to Chiang Rai and we stopped off here to refresh as it's April and super hot this year. The staff were very helpful, the room superb and the location... More

Absolutely love this resort! Checked in today into room 477 (Adventure suite) which would not look out of place in a 5 star international hotel, simply beautiful fit and finish and designed to maximise the views of the forest. Very helpful staff at check in the bell station, driven to the room by golf buggy and given breakfast vouchers. Staff... More

Situated about 40 mins east from the city, we caught a taxi from the railway station for 450 baht. A smooth 4 laned highway gets you there. We were amazed at the size of the complex. Grand isn't overstated here! Check-in was easy and we were soon on our way to our bungalow in a chauffeured buggy. Mr 11yo loved... More

We came to Sappraiwan for the elephants and yes it was a bit more expensive than our budget, but we had a great time. Positives: -The hotel and grounds are incredibly beautiful. Lots of neat forested trails to roam around, and a real resort feel. -The rooms were really top notch. So clean and nicer than most we stay at... More

Not a bad place to stay if you are driving from Phitsanulok to Khon Kaen, as we were however, I chose this resort due to reviews about the elephant sanctuary that is part of the hotel. We unfortunately did not get to see the elephants except from a long distance and no one offered any information about the elephants or... More

We chose this resort as we wanted to see the elephants and from reading the reviews it seemed good, whilst far away from Phitsanulouk, the taxi was only 600 to get there. We arrived and were impressed by the size of the place we went through a painful check in due to the lack of English we are in Thailand... More
