Stayed at the hotel for a night in September.
We’ve got a junior suite room. The room was large. The bed was so comfortable. Only drawback was a design of the bathroom. They put shower part in the middle between a basin and a toilet bowl with a shower curtain. Quite a surprise to know that the hotel has not have a grand opening yet. But the curtain hanger not function properly already.
Breakfast— food was; coffee was good. Staffs were very attentive and friendly.

Beautifully decorated hotel, with comfortable albeit small rooms, and a soft bed. Staff are very friendly and helpful and pointed us to a perfect game of tennis at publicly available courts. It was a fantastic treat. Breakfast was very good and abundant with congee and western egg dishes. While the pool is very small, there is also a small fitness room. Another great feature is the lunch restaurant immediately adjacent to the hotel, where you can sample local delicacies, truly delicious, at a very good price. The menu is only in Thai, but the friendly staff will help you by showing you what you might like to select. Hotel staff came to check that everything was good for us, which added a nice touch. The let down was that the cocktails at the restaurant were not up to standard. Loved the hotel and slept well.

This is one of splendid hotels in Thailand as an architect has mutually & smoothly designed and combined among accommodation, temple, and meseum in one. We felt that we were back to Ayudhya Era.

A room was very nice and clean with a big jacuzzi.

Services are excellent with friendly staffs, as they always smiles.

But, a swimming pool is small and fitness centre is out of the hotel and needs a buggy to reach there.

The breakfast buffet were not varous but they are yummy, only Thai foods.

All things considered, we will still return to stay at this hotel for the next trip in this province.

Shinnabhura Historic Hotel is a huge place, with lots of historical decor and artifacts, including a collection of spears and swords. Unfortunately for foreign visitors, none of the descriptions of the collectables includes English. The place has to be incredibly challenging to maintain and Covid has undoubtedly contributed to its weathered look. The pool was not clean (I doubt anyone would be interested to get in the water in the condition it was in when we stayed). The drum tower was filthy with pigeon droppings. The outdoor amphitheater stage was in disrepair. The spa and bar were closed. The TV in the room had just one English channel (CNA). On top of all, the room charge was pretty steep for what they provide; you're paying for the historical ambience, which unfortunately isn't currently up to expectations. Those critical observations were tempered somewhat by the huge, comfortable bed, good air con, very good complimentary breakfast with many choices, a very clean room, and very engaging and helpful staff. I hope the management can find the resources to do proper maintenance and bring the place back to its full potential.

First time visit to this hotel and sure won't be our last . Sinage off the main road terrible to find . Carpark very small if fullybooked. Welcome at the hotel First class could not ask more , stunningly beautiful property room size a little small
The aircon works well the bed was super comfortable the best in thailand room clean and tidy tv has European choices . Restaurant at the hotel the best we have eaten in thailand at any hotel for dinner
Breakfast was excellent only one let down the milk was off they should be checking this . Choice of food good again . Price of hotel good. You will be hard pushed to beat this place .

The hotel is beautiful, almost a museum but it doesn't has enough staff to maintain and clean it, there is dust everywhere, there are leaks... moreover, the hotel is far from the center town (needs a taxi all the time).
The staff is not really helpful and breakfast is really poor (no juice choice just artificial orange juice, no yogurt, no bread choice...)...some days even no buffet. Rooms are not big and it's difficult to find space for 2 suitcases opend. Swimming pool is small and not clean either.

Quite beautiful decorations in every corner in this hotel, and the upper floor of the reception hall was nicely decorated as a historical museum. Sadly the hotel hospitality was not so good throughout our 3 night stay. Some of the staff were nice but there is room for improvement.

The most beautiful hotel I've been to in Thailand. We stayed for 3 nights, and we loved it. Friendly staff, excellent food, historical buildings, though they are copies - but very nice copies - even the tiles are made specially. The water gives a calm feeling, and the small museum at the 1. floor tells you the local history - I was amazed by the fact, that the blacksmith's were stil the same family, as in the Middle Ages.
Shinnabhura is a little pearl in Phitsanulok!
