I stayed here for one night on a two-week self-driving road trip that included Chiang Rai, Chiang Mai, Lampang, Nan, and Nong Khai, following the Mekong and the borders with Laos and Cambodia and return to Chiang Mai via Phitsanulok and Sukhothai This is a typical It’s a typical Asian city-center-style budget hotel the likes of which can be found throughout Thailand and the region in general. I chose this accommodation because it had ample parking and good reviews. The room and bathroom were large, comfortable, and reasonably clean. The refrigerator, air conditioning, hot water, and wi-fi worked well. The bedding, towels, etc. were good. At a walk-in rate of 950 THB, I thought it was average but perfectly suitable for a night’s stay. A local-style breakfast was also included.

We originally booked this hotel so we could be close to the train station. We decided to catch the bus instead so it was miles from the Terminal 2.We were only staying for a few hours and had to leave at 2am on the bus.On arrival I asked about getting a taxi booked to get us there which turned into a bit of confusion but they got it organised and confirmed our booking. We could not get any drinks or ice at the hotel and I dont think there was any food either. We were in a room on the 5th floor. The grout in the bathroom was black but the room in general was pretty clean and they had an English TV movie channel which was good. There is nothing around the hotel as in restaurants or anything to do but we just wanted to be in town to catch the bus. I wouldnt stay there again but it was very reasonably priced.Staff had very little English

We stayed here in December 2019. I would say this hotel is very much average as the rooms were alright but could have been designed better and had better decor. The beds were comfortable as we had a good night sleep. The food was about average. I personally feel this hotel is reasonably okay for a 1 night stop but I would not necessarily recommend this hotel.

This unfortunately was the worst of the 9 hotels we stayed in. The "pool" which looked OK from a distance was green with algae and the walls a bottom were green a slippery. The bottom was uneven and coming away. There were broken brackets around the skimmers which were very sharp and dangerous. There was no were to sit or put your towels as the pool side furniture belonged to the rooms which opened out onto the poolside. The one bench based in the garden was surrounded by cigarette butts. The room was adequate but the towels were threadbare and the shower curtain fell down while we showered. The bar was based in the restaurant not very clear. You sat on patio furniture which wasn't a very comfortable place to enjoy your food. The drink and food menu was pretty basic but the food we had was good quality. A quiet and reasonably comfortable nights sleep. Breakfast was pretty basic. Wouldn't recommend this hotel.

We booked one night stay here while passing through Phitsanulok to fly back to Bangkok, the name sounds very grand, but the price should be a dead giveaway, there is nothing remotely ‘grand or palace’ like here, it’s acceptable for one night though, we arrived and parked our car and probably didn’t have high expectations, check in was straightforward and fairly quick, which was appreciated after a 5 hour drive from Chiang Mai, a guy then followed us to our car with a luggage trolley, the comedy value was that my husband had to advise that he put our suitcases on first and not our hand luggage at the bottom, he then managed to somehow race us up in the lift and be waiting outside our room for us to arrive. The room decor can best be described as quirky, the bathroom has a modern blue glass wash basin, but a white plastic shower curtain, there is red lighting on the ceiling, some brightly coloured wall painting, satin curtains, orange cushions, and the once white but now grey towels arranged on the bed. Whether you set the aircon to 17 or 30 degrees, it will still blow out an arctic blast of cold air that is too uncomfortable to leave switched in for more than a few minutes. However the room is clean. We went for a walk around the night market, which wasn’t what we expected as half the stalls appear to be second hand clothes and shoes, interspersed with Thai food stalls, you can buy anything from an albino hedgehog to a fried scorpion snack. We opted for dinner at the hotel, as you need to appreciate that this isn’t your average tourist area, dinner was ok and reasonably priced, although appetisers do arrive less than two minutes before your main course, so be prepared for it all to be eaten at the same time. Around 22:30, there was a strong stench of fresh cigarette smoke drift ing into the room, not sure how or where from, but the aroma is never acceptable when you are a non smoker. There was some caterwauling ‘entertainment’ that goes on late into the evening that can be heard in the room. We decided against using the pool, as there was feathers and bird mess in the water and what appeared to be a turd on the bottom of the pool and we weren’t prepared to take the risk of finding out if it was the case or not, although the pool does get cleaned early in the morning, but not helpful for the rest of the day. Breakfast, let’s just say if you’re going to serve fried eggs at least keep them warm, who eats cold fried eggs, the coffee was slightly warmer than tepid.

When we first walk in the hotel it wowed us, check in was easy then we went to our rooms and was wowed again, very large and clean. Then after we got a bit organized we decided to go for a swim, OMG it was terrible. There were weeds everywhere, pavers were tuned over, pot plants fallen over, no where to sit and the pool water was milky with bird faeces and feathers floating in it but the worst was the smell, my niece was dry retching. We were very happy with the rooms, the staff have to explain how breakfast works and reception should be receptionist instead of social media experts

Got to this hotel and was pleased with the room .clean and big enough. There are no electric plugs in the bathroom for hair drying razor etc .the front desk staff were friendly as that is far as it goes .the breakfast ,I know know what one of the reviews were saying it was good! What was good..the rice soup, the stale bread ,the orange juice that was warm, or the cheap ham and the thai hotdogs in the water bath. or the cold eggs.the manager came over and ask if I wanted anything I asked for an omelette and bacon .he said ok and went to the kitchen to cook it why wasn't it on the already on the buffet table.he brought it out in a few minutes, the omelette was as big as a matchbox and it was not bacon but the cheap boiled ham!.we had sauce on out table but the girl came and go it for another table.we went back in the hallway the lights were turn off and was still dark. Do your self a favor dont go there for the breakfast. This is the sort of hotel that wants to save every baht..I live in Thailand, and I have seen it all..

Agree, this is the least favourite hotel on the 8 night tour of Thailand. Comfortable but decor is a little weird, trying too hard to be modern and western looking. Small bathroom but nice comfortable bed. Breakfast was okay too. Nice to be in a small town to have a walk round and look at what the locals are eating from the market stalls - didn’t try the scorpions. Felt we were the only westerners in the area, but still felt safe. Had a drink from the hotel bar and sat outside the front, which made a nice change.

Stayed one night whilst on a tour. The hotel is tired and was the worst we stayed in over the eight nights. Breakfast was not good and overall the hotel isn’t great. That being said we had the best nights sleep! It is tucked away on a side street a short walk from a night market. Functional and ok would be the best description !

Nothing special and a bit old fashioned but it was clean, the room service was good (although difficult to arrange as English was not always understood) and the staff were friendly. Location not great and quite a walk from anywhere.
