Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We had deluxe room on fourth floor of building 1. The room was quite spacious, clean and bright. Breakfast was included- taste was good. The staff were very helpful and service- minded.

Since the hotel is by the main road, there’s noise. But by late night, it was quiet enough to sleep well all night.

The hotel is on the western outskirts of Phitsanulok - so it is convenient if travelling NS or East. Mr room (2501, I think) was not on the 2nd floor but the 5th, and faced the busy main highway. Closed windows and drapes blocked out most of the noise but if you are a light sleeper request a room in the adjacent building or on the non-road side of the first building. The room was clean and comfortable enough and the breakfast (free) was excellent. There is a small swimming pool but I did not try it. On my return visit I stayed in the older building which offered slightly larger rooms.

We stay all over Thailand and lo and behold here in our Home City we find a jewel. Granted this is our first stay and only one night but so far we are both impressed with the large clean room and bath as well as the aesthetics outside... if you slow down and look around. The breakfast also impressed but in Thai only, no English. To this point my only suggestion/complaint is that they need to put non slip strips on the shower floor. Yes no blow dryer, but hey you can always find some little thing to carp about if you try. So I think this is a great $$$Dollar Value at 850 bht about $25. You usually have to pay 1000bht and up for this good of a hotel. PS: thanks to the breakfast boss and staff for the excellent service.

Great budget hotel, perfect for overnight stay (or for a few days, of course). Good sized room, many TV channels (mostly Thai though). Breakfast was a big surprise, long list of items to order, and tasty meals too. Will definitely return some day!

Very clean and comfortable hotel. Good location and car parking. Large room nicely decorated with good fittings, linen etc.
There is a large light airy spotlessly clean dining room with an exceptional breakfast for this class of hotel. Best ไข่ กระทะ I have ever eaten cooked to order all included in addition to all the usual things. Great coffee, chocolate, mocha etc from machine Nice balcony to sit and eat overlooking a large and well kept pool.
Fantastic value. I’ll be back. Definitely 5* for this type of hotel.

Clean, but charmless, featureless rooms. Bathroom was OK, but not much water pressure in the shower. WiFi worked OK, but out of the 69 TV channels, 64 of them were showing exactly the same programme - Thai military government news. Breakfast was terrible. Sliced white sweetened bread. Enough butter to coat a postage stamp to a depth of about one micron. A fried egg so crisp you could play Frisbee with it. "Two" "sausages" that if you stuck them together would still be smaller than your thumb, and which tasted of... nothing at all. And instant coffee with powdered milk. Sorry to be so negative, but this hotel isn't trying to be good.

Hotel looks okay. The room had the usual things.
The hotel was filled up, so my experience may factor this in to the picture.

1: The air condition made some horrible noises with regular intervals, the rest of the time it was just noisy.

2: The room were on the road side of the hotel, again a lot of noise.

3: Around 21:00 a family with several kids came back to the room on top of ours. The kids spent several hours screaming and jumping on the floor, while the parents happily watched some soaps at full blast.

4: Internet was not usable. If I got a connection it lasted only a few seconds before it broke.

I only stayed one bad night here. Another night at another room may have been very different.

The road noise is something to be expected, and it stilled down some after 23:00.
The aircon may have been fixable, maybe a room change, but those options were out with a full hotel.

It were clean and the staff were friendly.

Personally I would take this as a last option for future stays, but in all honesty, I think I must have been very unlucky this night.

Room Tip: I would ask for a room heading away from the main road.

A sister hotel to the Rattana Park Hotel, the Rattana View is located on the main thoroughfare of Phitsanlouk and within a five or so minutes walk to the old bus station. Opened only a few years ago, it still retains a certain degree of "freshness" about it. The rooms are very clean, well set out with all the mod cons and a great bathroom. Like all newer hotels in Thailand, cable/satellite TV with more channels than you can poke a stick at is standard. There is a pool out front but it didn't look particularly inviting at that time we stayed. Admittedly, rainy season had just begun!
It us a very good hotel at a fair price but the breakfast is about average with a strange ordering system in place for meals such as omelettes etc. It is almost a cross between buffet and a la carte! The coffee is very ordinary, a touch on the cheap and nasty old style of instant.
Overall, if driving past or in for a day or two, it's a great place to bed down.

If coming from elsewhere by bus such as air-con Chiangmai, they have built a new bus station further out of town. This came as a bit of surprise, especially as I had only recently stayed in P'louk a few months earlier! You need to get a taxi or took took into town etc, and that comes a a cost - under 100 baht but still annoying.
