The Grand Riverside, well not perfect, is still one of the best options, and probably the best value, in Phitsanulok. Reservations were easy through the website. The hotel physically is in pretty good shape, and the location is great if you'd like to explore Phitsanulok by foot. Check-in was fairly easy. It is a bit hard to communicate with the...

Seemed a bit of a ghost town hotel, very few staff or visitors. Bar had long gone. Room was ok, needed a bit of work doing on it to bring it up to standard. Good choice of restaurants nearby on the river, but take mosquito spray. Didnt help that bathroom door got locked from inside in the middle of the...

This hotel has good housekeeping and is relatively clean. The staff do not speak any English, you have to point and use hand gestures. The food items for Americans are attempts at the real thing, usually tainted with their effort to duplicate, but are mostly tolerable. I recommend eating elsewhere. You will not find much English spoken anywhere in Phitsanulok...

This is a modern hotel which is situated next to the river. The staff was professional, friendly and efficient and ensured that checking in was a very smooth process. The room was very comfortable and clean and the bathroom met all expectations. Breakfast provided an adequate start to the day. I will stay here again if the opportunity arises.

Phitsanulok was one of the surprise packets of Thailand and well worth a couple of nights stopover. This older modern built hotel is serviceable if characterless. It's strengths include an excellent location by the river and some great casual bars, an easy walk from the lovely small train station, clean, spacious rooms and an OK breakfast on a large, pleasant...

Decided to make an unscheduled stop in Phiseanlouk. Decided we wanted to be in the City Center. Check In was slow, as the Staff, dressed in traditional silk formal jackets, struggled to find my reservation. The room was small, clean, no grand river view as we were above the restaurant! Before walking to the Night Market, just across the Nan...

Large hotel, clean and comfortable, with spacious rooms. Rather old fashioned art deco style interior with sweeping staircase rather like a 50's cinema,.but nicely done. Rooms nicely furnished. In common with many Thai provincial hotels, the breakfast is perfunctory, with the usual rubberised fried eggs, spam, boiled frankfurters and toasting machine as well the standard Thai options, dreadful coffee.. So not aimed...
