A beautiful log cabin style interior with a 4 poster bed, that would not look out of place in the Mountains of Alaska or the Swiss Alps. Very nicely decorated with local arts. Staff 10 out of 10 for politness, and professionalism ( I was a bit agressive due to tiredness but the lady at reception kept smiling and trying to help.- 1 point taken away for Check in Procedures. Upon booking I was asked credit card details to secure the booking, but when I arrived and tried to pay with the same card, I was told that they dont accept cards, only cash. Other than this, it is up there with any 5 star hotel. This resort is about 10 minutes bicycle ride from Unesco Sukhothai Historical park. Bicycles are 50 bhat for 24 hours ( you will see bicycles advertised in town for 30 bhat, but these need to be returned the same day, where as at the hotel you can use again the next morning) Complimentary tea- coffee- bottled water, and breakfast included.

We spent 3 nights at the Thai Thai resort which has a small but lovely swimming pool, bikes to rent and a simple but adequate breakfast.

Our room was on the 1st and top floor with a shared outside area with chairs and a table outside the door. There is a refrigerator in the room which is handy if you pick up beer etc from the 7/11 in Old Sukhothai. There are several restaurants too in Old Sukhotai which is about 15 minutes walking distance from the hotel.

We found 1 day enough to explore Old Sukhotai so hired a scooter and explored further on day 2. We had a fab time staying here but in retrospect 2 nights would have been enough if you just want to see the historic park.

The reception staff were really friendly and helpful too.

My wife and I stayed here 3 nights, arriving by a joint transfer van($17) from THS Airport at 6PM. A nice receptionist processed our check in, copied our passports, took my credit card payment, as we signed a form and received our key cards. We followed her and the porter up the street lined with bungalows and up the steep steps.
Deluxe king #10 was clean, all wood and dominated by a comfortable canopied king, 2 nightstands with lamps, desk with chair, a comfortable chair in the corner, refer with 2 waters, small closet unit with hot pot, tea and coffee, small TV(only France 24 in English, then many Thai channels), slow wifi, good lighting/outlets, quiet unobtrusive wall AC and a rural garden view. The spacious bathroom had a tile shower with electric hot water. Outside the door was a large patio with table/chairs & drying rack.

The 7AM breakfast buffet was well serviced with many hot foods/vegetables focused on Asian tastes. The western section had fresh fruit, juice, pancakes, oats/corn flakes, egg station, toast and a coffee machine with many choices.

We swam laps in their 24’ x 48’ 4’+ deep pool shared with the Vieng Tawan Sukhothai Hotel. In the cool of the morning, we walked 1 mile up to the Historical Park and at midday, returned on one of the tuk tuks(60 Thb) waiting near the 7-11 store.

This 2010 hotel has many room types spread along a quiet shaded lane that provides ample parking.

We stayed here for 3 nights. Fantastic bungalow, lovely staff - who were v helpful and a good location to get to historical park. We hired push bikes from here for 50 baht per day. Breakfast reasonable. Very quiet area you need to walk to restaurants in the town approximately
1km, the road was v dark so need a torch or to use a tuktuk taxi. Would definitely recommend staying here if visiting this town. If there was a bar area/food available on site we would have given a 5 star review

A terrific hotel, the staff were really helpful, the room clean spacious and well equipped. Complimentary drinking water, tea and coffee was provided. The TV was mostly thai channels with 1 english language, the picture quality was very good. The bathroom was clean and modern with a hot water shower.
The only negative for my particular room was there was a metal roof on one of the buildings close by and I could hear the rain on it.
The only food available was breakfast which is buffet style, extensive and very good, there are alternative restaurants not too far away.
Parking is available and the motorcycle parking was under cover.
Will use again for sure.

The resort is located in old Sukhothai and the better place to be if your main reason is to explore the Historical Park. Initially we thought that the resort was too far off the main road and from the Historical Park is on the main road. We were wrong. It may be only a 15 to 20 minute walk and not very far but bicycles you can hire for 50 baht each a day at the resort is worth the investment an fun. You can also hire a tuk tuk. 7eleven, restaurants and Historical Park were all located together on the main road so basically easy. No need to go to new Sukhothai at all. I have heard nothing really there. Its all in the old town. The resort is not massive and actually small but there were plenty of rooms. We booked a bungalow which is designed to copy trading thai housing. Timber style which is what we prefer. We don't like too modern as it doesn't reflect the Thai feeling. The room is not massive but plenty of room with a porch. The room was serviced daily and very clean. Not massive breakfast but enough. How much can you eat really. They provided cereal but no milk. When we asked for it every morning they told us they didn't have any. We couldn't understand why if you offer cereal. Oh well. Staff were so helpful and friendly especially reception. If they didn't know the answer, they would check and then let us know. We were trying to find the best way to travel onto our next destination. We eventually decided to book a bus/coach to Bangkok which was really cheap and comfortable and the bus actually left from old town main road itself, so very convenient. The pool is outside the complex but only a 2 minute walk and is actually pretty good. Great for a swim and cool down after a day visit to the Historical Park. Our main reason for visiting Sukhothai was to explore the Historical Park and visit museum which we did in 2 days. This resort ticked all the boxes so that we could explore without having to catch transport to get to everything, enjoy and relax. Recommend.

The resort was a lot bigger and more sprawled out than expected.
We stayed in the main building and could not fault anything. The staff are veey helpful, the breakfast was excellent and the pool was clean and great to cool off in the afteenoon. The onsite bike hire was 100 baht for 24 hours, and was a great way to get around town. I would have really liked to stay a few more days, but it was time to go to our next destination.

This hotel is so well located for visiting the historic sites of Sukhothai. They have bicycles to rent for very modest fee making it easy to explore. The staff are all amazing, always offering help to make our trip the best it could be. Breakfast was gorgeous, real Thai breakfasts freshly cooked, other options were available but we love authentic experiences. And at the end of a hot day the swimming pool was amazing, beautiful setting. All in all so glad we chose to stay here.

Fantastic staff at the reception; super nice and super attentive. What a great welcome!
Our (Superior) room was simply perfect; very comfortable and nice, with real charm. Its small terrace was terrific!
The swimming pool is very nice; not that big but absolutely brilliant to relax after a busy (and hot) day spent exploring the beautiful historical sites. Breakfast is excellent.
The hotel has plenty of bikes available for rental at a very reasonable price.
We spent 3 nights at the Thai Thai Sukhothai Resort... And we had a blast; what a wonderful stay! We will definitely come back when we visit Sukhothai again later this year!
SUPERB value!
