A quiet and cozy place. The room was very large and the bed was comfortable and luxurious. In the middle of the complex there is a cute pool, and on one of the hottest days there (37 ° C) I enjoyed a short dip in it. The staff assisted me with any questions and my stay there was very pleasant.

Charming guesthouse in the heart of Sukhothai. Wonderful and big breakfast served daily. The owners are very nice and also very helpful. Tuk Tuks available just outside the parking area to take you to the Historical Park.
Thank you for a lovely stay!

We stayed in the Foresto Guest House and loved the place. Rooms are large and very comfortable with a terrace outside. There's a really nice swimming pool for a welcome dip after a day's sightseeing. The breakfast was really enjoyable and everyone working there is so friendly. We had a minor problem with the bathroom which the manager, Sun, seemed really upset about. He got it fixed quickly then refused to let us pay for the laundry we'd had done as an apology. Nothing is too much truble for him. I highly recommend Foresto for anyone visiting Sukhothai.

I didn’t stay there. My experience was that the owner helped med out a lot when I was in the need of computer and print service. He collected he’s own private computer to the restaurant are and let me use it! A real service minded and kind man. I will surely stay there next time!

Lovely oasis. They upgraded our room. Very comfortable with a sitting room and the pool right outside.
Breakfast was lovely and as we stayed a few days they changed it regularly for us.
The bed was extremely comfortable and the staff so helpful and welcoming.

Stayed 4 nights. Spacious room with sitting area. Clean and very comfortable mattress. Close to everything but incredibly quiet. Host and staff were attentive and efficient. Let us know about night markets, current transport arrangements and special event for king's birthday. Excellent breakfast. Nice pool. No hesitation in recommending.

We stayed 5 nights in the family suite (2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms) during December. The location is fantastic, just down a small soi off the main road, with only a 100m walk to some decent bars, restaurants and morning fresh food markets, and a stones throw from the bridge that leads over to the night food markets and street food vendors.

The guesthouse is relatively new, but already starting to show some signs of wear and tear. The pool was a nice temperature, but had tiles coming away which wasn't a huge problem and actually gave our kids something to do (collect the colourful tiles off the floor of the pool). The gardens could do with some weeding and care. The rooms towards the back of the complex (surrounding the pool) looked to have lovely surrounds, however the family suite is located at the front near the reception, and the sitting area outside is unkept and falling apart. The rooms are actually quite big and work well for a family, with 2 large bedrooms on either side of a lounge area. There is a small fridge in the room which stays on when the power cuts out (power goes out when you leave the room and take the key), and the aircon works well and is quiet.

We didn't eat there for an evening meal, but both the Thai and Western breakfasts were decent and standard price for the area. The owner, while other reviews have mentioned that he seems disinterested, was actually very helpful with arranging tours, transport and providing information. I think that, rather than being disinterested, he's just quiet and calm - he was always polite and up front with us, and very helpful with all our needs.

I'd definitely recommend Foresto as somewhere to stay in Sukhothai, for the location especially, if not for the lovely pool and decent rooms.

Rooms are amazing! Huge and mostly quiet compared to other hotels in Thailand. Beds are huge and extremly comfy! Wifi is ok.
Nice patios though the garden is not maintained.
Staff is ok but could improve their english.
Breakfast is not included in the price but pancakes are definitly worth trying!
Location is perfect in the centre of Sukhothai, good bars and restaurants around.
Would definitly recomand !

We stayed at foresto at the end of the second week of November (15nov)
We were greatly surprised by the guest room in the end .
We had a joint two bedrooms for two couples with a common living room and both had separate bathrooms. We feel like at home during our stay. Great rooms and especially great service from the host who was very friendly attentive and ready to help.
Location is great as closed to market held on Saturday evening. Parking available for cars, great continental breakfast and good food in general. Decoration of the place was great and make us feel at ease.
Unusual guest house I have to say is different from the service you can get in a hotel. Good for short stay as Sukkothai has a lot to offer.
Thanks so much for your help again,
Hope to come back there soon

Yann & Kanitta

This place is still pretty new and in the making but we really enjoyed our climatised room in Foresto's beautiful backyard. Comfy beds, loads of space. Bathroom nicely decorated, separated from room behind window pane (with shades!) which might offer less privacy to some, it was ok for us though. In all, this place offers a very laid-back and relaxed atmosphere, friendly service, nice bars in the area, night market just a 5 min walk over the bridge, getting to Sukhothai ruins very easy! For further relaxation after a day at the ruins, try the massages offered by restaurant next door, they were amazing!
