I was so surprised by this hotel. I travelled here for 1 night with a group of Thai friends and for the first time I was not simply ignored by the staff while travelling as foreigner with Thais, but warmly welcomed by the owners (in good English too :)). We stayed in Mayongchid bungalow. The rooms were comfortable and spacious enough and near the river. Although the restaurant closes a bit early at 20:00,the dinner was delicious. Breakfast was oke, very basic but enough choices.

I wrote a review a little over a year ago and here is another one. The new owner I mentioned in my previous review is the hardest working owner I have ever encountered and he is putting a lot of love and care into the place. They just added a pool, which is amazing for that area, although they are still working on the finishing touches.
But the owner and staff could not be more helpful, bending over backwards and even doing things for us we didn't even ask for.
I highly recommend.

This hotel is in my wife's village. We stayed here a few times and it is just phenomenal.
There is a new owner putting a lot of care and effort into the place. Although the old owners were great as well.
Good breakfast.
Staff is amazingly nice.
If you are traveling through the area I'd recommend this place for sure.

We enjoyed our brief 1 night stay at the Doembang Villa in Suphan Buri. We stayed in a quaint and comfortable room near the river. The room itself was nice but dusty and the water pressure in the shower was very weak. Also, I was a bit frustrated with the staff which did not speak English. But if I asked them a question if they had bread available for breakfast, they would answer 'no' while later I found out that they did. Frustrations like this should not be tolerated especially if they're charging 1,500 thb per night. For this reason, I rate this place as an average 3 star experience. I would have been much more satisfied had they charged the room at 800 - 900 thb per night.

I went to suphanburi with my friend. Honestly, I never think that Suphanburi is interesting at all. I found this hotel on the internet. The owner was sooooo nice. He speak English perfectly (for foreigner). There food is excellent. The atmosphere is superb. It's next to river. They have kayak for everyone to relax along the river. Don't worry, They have life-jacket for us too. Definitely, I will go back again.

During Songkran festival 2013, we are thinking of any place to take a rest in Supanburi which is near my hometown, Nonthaburi. Then, we searched from Internet and found Doembang Villa. The website is very nice and provide lots of details and photos. We booked a room for 3 adults and 1 child in Olive House, 2nd Floor.

Dinner at the restaurant is superb, very delicious but had some mosquito, little annoy but it's ok. Food may be served slow as we ordered in advance but the delicious of food is compensate to it. :)

Room is great with balcony which you can see the atmosphere and they also had bicycle for adult and children to ride around the villa.

The villa is near to the attraction eg. Buk Chawak which has Underwater world and zoo.
Good service for the villa's owner family! ^^

I will stay there again!.. thanks for the good place and service.

This resort is a little remote, not terribly convenient to get to Suphan Buri for any evening entertainment, but for a natural retreat from city life, it makes a nice getaway. There are several lodging options available, but by far the best and unique opportunity is to stay in the traditional teak house that is close to the river. It's a 3-bedroom unit with air conditioning available in each of the rooms. The bed was comfortable and shower facilities were a little sparse but adequate. No internet was available in the room, but internet in the riverside restaurant was available. They have a couple of kayaks available to paddle around the scenic and slow-moving river. The owner is a retired government worker who graduated from a US university, and is very friendly. There is a charming Chinatown market to to tour about 19 km in toward Suphan Buri, called Talad Roi Bi Sam Chuk, available only Friday, Saturday and Sundays. Important Note: Google Maps does not have an accurate location for this resort. Turn west off of 340 at Wat Doem Bang. Cross over the bridge and take the small alley on the right. Follow this north about 1 km, and turn right (east) on the last little alley before the road rejoins a main road. The signs are in Thai, written as เติมบางวิลล่า.

We had a double bed room. The place is very quiet and peacefull. We went to the nearby aquarium, which is surprisingly good and entertaining. Very good coffee and the food and beverage is reasonably priced.

We stayed at the Doem Bang Villa on an overnight stop during our Tha Chin River kayak descent end of August 2014. We chose this resort because it was situated on the river and easy accessible from the river. On arrival we were well received by the owner, who offered us a coffee and took time for a chat.

We stayed at the Lemon House and the Tamarind Thai House. The latter is a "Ruen Thai" with the possibility to lodge a family of five persons in a modernized authentic Thai style. Because all rooms in the resort were occupied it was offered kindly at the same rate as the Lemon House. The rooms were equipped with air-conditioning, refrigerator and television (only a small number of Thai channels). Both accommodations had terraces.

We got bicycles for free at the resort and biked to a lake in the vicinity called Bueng Chawak. We visited the zoo, the crocodile park and tunnel aquarium (Bueng Chawak Chalermphrakiat). The resort offers free kayaks (double) for a paddle trip on the river.

There is possibility to have dinner at the resort, but the menu was in Thai only; what let us understand that this resort caters mostly for local people. As the owner speaks English there is no problem to order food and drinks. The dining hall is located along the river bank in the open, but is roofed. The garden is neatly maintained and the view of the river at sunrise and sunset is just beautiful. The owner did everything in his possibilities to make our stay comfortable. Good place to stay.
