Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We found this hotel by chance online when we arrived in Suphanburi feeling a bit lost and didn't know where to stay. Most places are really expensive so when we saw 400 baht per night we jumped at the chance.
The hotel is spotless and very modern and the staff are very friendly. Our room was big and had an attached bathroom and very private balcony. It's one of few places we stayed which had a hot shower, and we had a fridge in our room and free water. There is use of a microwave in the lobby, and washing machines for 30 baht a wash. The wifi was fast and the bed was comfortable, plus we had air con.
Overall, best hotel we've stayed in in Asia.

After arriving in Suphonburi my wife and I checked into a hotel we booked that turned out to be a nightmare with bugs on the walls and all.

We went for a walk and stopped at CPS. They let us look at one of the rooms which seemed nice and clean. Had its own bathroom and shower. We booked the hotel, went to original and moved our stuff over to CPS.

Check in was easy and front desk woman was very nice. We came to our room and had a nice king size bed with clean sheets. The room is not much and not fancy but would be ok for a few nights. There is a fridge and tv. Free wifi. The bathroom and room were clean.

The lobby area has many options for snacks and drinks if you want.

Again as we left for food and the woman at the front desk gave us suggestions for food right outside he front of the property. 7-11 and McDonalds is close as well.

The staff is friendly and helpful. They try to help and speak English to some degree.

This is a recommended hotel

CPS Mansion is best described as a motel which is very conveniently located as it is situated diagonally opposite the Heaven Dragon Park which is undoubtedly Suphanburi’s most impressive tourist attraction and is close to several 7-11s and Big C. The other tourist attractions in the city are also within easy reach. If you are heading to the motel with your own wheels, you should be aware that it is located on Road 321 between two ptt petrol stations and just before a Honda/Yamaha motorbike showroom. There is a sign at the entrance to the soi, which you go down to reach it, but it is easily missed.

The rooms are all virtually identical, but the even-numbered ones are the quieter as they are not on the same side as the road. However, the walls are still too thin to isolate you from the noise of a loud television next door as I discovered on our second night. Also be aware that when my Thai friend booked me the room, she was quoted a price of 400 Baht per night for a double room, but they insisted on 450 Baht on our arrival although this is still cheaper than if you use Agoda to book your room. English language skills are next to zero and, as this is primarily a Chinese Thai city, the treatment at the reception desk was somewhat tight-lipped, surly and unwelcoming just like in Mainland China.

The room walls are either painted white or purple, depending on the room you are given, the latter being the most attractive. Our room had white walls. The room was big with white floor tiles and a purple door which had quite a space between it and the floor. The room came with a large blue-coloured fridge, a wall-mounted TV which we didn´t use, a wardrobe without a single clothes hanger inside, a large wall-mounted clock which did not work, a desk with a chair, some shelves with white lower doors and an oval-shaped wall mirror. There was also a sizeable balcony which is wired off from the outside and comes with a beam for hanging clothes to dry. The air conditioner works well and the free wifi, which has both a username and password, is quite fast and works satisfactorily.

The bathroom is a good size and has white tiles on the wall and brown ones on the floor. The water temperature is, however, too hot for comfort and you cannot lower the temperature unless you virtually switch the heater off. Shower gel, shampoo, soap and toilet paper are provided.

The room did have several problems though. The duvet that was placed on the bed was filthy and so much so that you could feel the dirt on it with your hands. It must have not been washed for ages. We pointed this out to the staff and they did bring us a replacement, but could not be bothered to take away the dirty duvet or to place the replacement physically on the bed for us. Also, there was a hole just outside the door where hundreds of ants were appearing and entering the room so that they were crawling all over the floors. We resolved this problem ourselves by buying some ant killer from Big C. Also, the air conditioning unit leaked water onto the balcony. However, the staff seemed to be insistent on giving us this room by lying to us that other nicer rooms were not clean when they were in actual fact considerably cleaner than ours. So, you may have to insist on taking the room of your choice and not putting yourself at any disadvantage by paying in advance through Agoda. It should be noted though that they did clean our room on our request the second day as we decided to stay on for a second night.

The building is provided with a lift and a code-activated door into the building which we found impossible to use. There is also a large car park at the premises where you can park your vehicle.

All in all, this is a pleasant place to stay which does have its drawbacks in the form of awkward receptionists and insufficient attention to cleanliness and detail. However, I can still recommend this motel with the aforementioned reservations. Therefore, I will have to limit my rating to 3 stars.
