The absolutely friendly staff, the impeccably clean hostel room, the cafe on top, the view, the breakfast, when someone puts so much effort, nothing can go wrong. There may be plenty of places to stay in Kintamani, but you will never have the experience of staying in a place like Kintamani backpackers. The view during the entire day will take...

Got here at 7pm tired and worn out. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. The place was clean and it was close to a relatively cheap restaurant that I ate at 3 times. The view was incredible and the weather was perfect. When I got bit by a monkey (in Ubud) the staff came to my rescue and helped...

What a lucky trip ! We booked for 3 of us (extra bed) and got nice room with awesome view at our balcony ! A bit surprise with no air-condition room, just open the balcony door and enjoy cold breeze. In the morning, breakfast wasn't that good but we enjoyed the view of mountain more than anything !!! Hope to...

This hostel/hotel can give you the wrong impression depending on the room you are given. It might be magnificent or kind of disappointing. In our case we went from the disappointing part to the magnificent from one day to the other. Short story: If you want the short story (and you are going to be booking right now) talk to...

The first impression was dismal - the boys dorm was fine but the girls one stank of mildew and it was literally growing huge spores over the walls, It is damp and cold set under the main building away from light and air with serious salt damp in the walls. Bathrooms are not hygienic and barely serve their purpose. The...

Thanks for taking the time to review our humble backpackers. You stayed in January, which is smack-bang in the middle of rainy season (Dec to April) -- in this period we are often immersed in thick cloud. Rest assured we do our best to air everything out when the sun comes out. We're well into the dry season now, and...

At first, we think the place was like an ordinary hotel because the price is not expensive. But after we get there, turns out to be a great room or to be exact half villa. And great view in front of the room. The hotel food was great also, you should try once at least.

Thanks for checking out our Flashpacker Rooms! We have been slowly renovating and refurbishing it. Presently we have 4 rooms totally remodeled and 4 still to go. It's a labour of love to renovate a 33-year old building. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay and the food. We look forward to hosting you on your next visit to Bali.

We stayed here for two nights whilst climbing mount batur. We opted for the budget option of double bed in the dorm. The beds and dorms were clean and the bed was really cozy! All of the staff were very smiley and helpful, which always helps.you can also hire bikes at reasonable rates. The building has lots of character and...

Thank you so much for your glowing review! I'm glad you enjoyed your stay and found it relaxing. We've had some guests stay a week and walk every direction, even down into the crater, across the volcano and back (some people do love walking). Yes, we're in a remote area with very little public transport so it is good to...
