Stayed with family in room called villa with 3 bedroom...The booking process not responsive, the given cellphone contact is not cooperative. Being there during high season with amazing expensive price 5million for 2 days. The breakfast very basic and only 2 portion each room..children need to pay even for family room....not a place for family. You can get much better...

We stayed at this beautiful Lake Toba frontage hotel in October 2012. It was really clean with comfortable new mattresses, very friendly staff and owners and a fantastic quiet lakeside setting. The lovely rooms start from about 100,000rp per night. Everything was perfect for a relaxing romantic holiday and the owners are happy to help in any way they can....

It's quite a drive (about 20 minutes) to Ambarita and there is absolutely nothing out there, so you need to expect that you will eat most of your melas...
