The $130 per night room charge was far in excess of the services provided. The main courtyard is pretty. The room itself, rather basic with no chairs or desk to sit down or place useful objects. The general decor looks a bit used, in spite of the main room tables and chairs being covered in unattractive thick clear plastic sheets....

Since the Fahadan Museum hotel was full, we where put in the Nakhl-e Mehr traditional house. Very expensive for tiny tiny rooms. Upon complaint we got a somewhat bigger room, but that was very dirty, had hairs and dust clouds everywhere, the carpet was dirty as well. Badly restored, without eye for the history of the house. We initially booked...

If you want first class facilities do not come here but if you want to get a feel of the character of the old city of Yazd, it is perfect. Breakfast not that great and internet only available in the courtyard, beware they turn the lights off at about 10.00pm in the courtyard as the bedrooms are surrounding it. The...

For the hotel manager travellers from the western countries ( unless they're part of an organised group ) are WESTERN SPIES and have no hesitation in calling tourist police and MFA to share his suspicions which obviously isn't fun. Management also harrases staff by accusing them of theft, not paying them on time ( salaries delayed by 2-3 months are...

I've visited Yazd and surrounding for the first time. I have stayed in Fahadan Museum Hotel for 2 nights. As the tittle shows, this hotel is more than a usual western hotel that you think. While the rooms and services are within the expected level of a modern hotel, it's actually a museum to stay and to explore around. Friendly...

With sweet traditional decoration, both about the building, the rooms, and the furniture, you will enjoy experiencing the calm of Persian architecture. The yard has a cozy atmosphere to spend hours studying talking and drinking. The location of the hotel is at the heart of the historical part of Yazd and you will be a few steps away from some...

This place appears to live off its reputation as a tradional/historic hotel. We were booked for 3 days but checked out after the first night. We had a variety of issues (dirty corridors, disinterested staff, noisy room, shocking breakfast, a culture of blaming guests etc) which we concluded could easily be addressed with better management.

Fahadan Hotel is located exactly in the historical centre of Yazd: it is an old and genuine Khajar era house, which in itself is worth the visit. The management and all the staff are extremely kind and provided us with all kind of precious advices. We recommend to book this hotel in case of a trip to Yazd. Luigi and...
