Stayed in this big tent complex 1 night to explore Wadi Rum as part of our one week private tour in Jordan. We arrived late in the evening and were directly taken to dinner. Nice salads of different kinds followed by tasty rice meals served with grilled lamb and chicken. Our triple tent was basic but spacious enough. The communal... More

This was the first desert camp I ever stayed at. I slept like a baby and woke up early to enjoy the sunrise. The tents and the community bathrooms were very clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. Since none of them knew English, we had to communicate with hands and feets, but that was ok and very much... More

When we arrived it indeed reminded us of a refugee camp. Very basic, and worse, the tents looked really tired. No maintenance was done in months, lighting broken, etc. Food was of reasonable quality. We were tired after longs walks at Petra, but sleeping was impossible when 30+ men arrived for their boy's night out. Apparently the owner was desperate... More

To anyone complaining that this wasn't what they were expecting--they probably shouldn't have signed up to "camp" in a desert to begin with. This camp was great. The tents were basic and had two single beds with lots of blankets as it gets cold. The doors tie shut, and lights go on in the evening. The bathrooms are shared and... More

I was probably not informed the camp we had booked for the night. My imagination was thousand nights theme, luxury version according to travel agent. Whole camp was tourist trap reminding it to the days back in Mallorca where "PIG" parties was the thing. Camp is as simple as it gets, in the late evening hoard of buses with more... More

My boyfriend and I were in Jabal in occasion of his birthday on mid August. We decided to take a trip to Petra and Wadi Rum and when arrived at the camp after the visit to Petra we were welcomed by Said the manager and Odei that was actually our driver from the junction to the camp. Said explained us... More

First of all, the camp's location is perfect especially when you are driving alone, they have a road from the main road that leads you exactly to the camp, with a wide safe parking. Once you arrive, they meet you at the entrance, have a refreshing juice for free, also we have booked with them 4 hours Jeep tour which... More

We did not sleep at this camp. We (a group of 30) only had our lunch there after a 2 hours desert 4x4 trek. It is basically a village of tents. They will accomodate groups such as ours for lunches. The meat (mutton) is slowly cooked in pots buried in the sand. Otherwise you have the same food as in... More

We stopped here for lunch after a four by four vehicle ride through the desert. The food was plentiful and delicious. We were each given a plate piled high with rice and chicken and then there were other dishes to share. It's not often that I can't finish a meal, but this had me beat.
