I went to this Wadi Rum camp with two friends. It was amazing. I tried to do some research on what camps were reputable, affordable. I made the right choice. I can 100% recommend this company. The price is very reasonable. We added on a sunrise camel ride which was an extra 40 dinars. It was worth it. Everything was a once in a lifetime experience. Food was also amazing. We did the full day jeep your. I cannot say enough about our two days with this group. We spent one night in a tent at the camp and one night outdoors. If you can only do one night, sleep outdoors. It was an experience of a lifetime.

We wanted to do the 3 day camel tracking and just booked 1 day in advance by WhatsApp with Attallah. When we arrived it was super cold and raining so we changed the plan to a full day Jeep tour with sleeping in the camp and after that 2 day camel tracking.
The jeep tour covered all the attractions, was well organized and our guide Akram spoke good English and explained a lot about the Bedouin lifestyle to us... nice lunchbox was provided!
In the evening we were warming up at the fire and had a great dinner with some food they burried in a fire pit for hours! Super delicious...
After that some of the guys played Bedouin music and showed us the dancing and we had a great night in our comfortable tent!

The next day we wanted to start the camel tracking but Attallah called our guide that the government will close the boarders 2 days later because of Corona so we changed the plan and just took a very nice camel ride 2 h to rum village to organize our travels home...

Thanks a lot to Attallah, Akram and the whole team for the great experience and help!! We hope to come back soon to sleep under the stars in beautiful Wadi Rum!! :)

We chose not to stay overnight at Wadi Rum, but booked the 5-hour Wadi Rum jeep tour with Attallah at Bedouin Lifestyle by email the day before we arrived. He was quick to respond and very helpful. Attallah explained in detail how to get to their office, and kept in touch via Whatsapp. When we arrived, he introduced us to Akmar, our driver and guide, and suggested that Akmar could also prepare a Bedouin-style lunch for us. As we would be out on the tour over lunchtime, we agreed, which turned out to be a really good call. The Jeep was a pickup truck with padded benches against the sides, and a covering overhead to keep the sun off. Akmar was friendly and informative, and we learned a bit more about local life and customs from him as we chatted over lunch (and also that he featured in a Hollywood movie that was shot in Wadi Rum!). He also took some great photos of us and cooks a mean Galayet (on a fire that he made with some dried twigs he picked up along the way). We saw all the sights that we had wanted to see, including a few natural arch formations and canyons. Wadi Rum is definitely worth a visit and we highly recommend the services of Bedouin Lifestyle.

Took a full-day jeep tour with overnight stay in the desert. To be honest, the view of Wadi Rum is pretty normal. But the tour is okay. The picnic lunch was delicious. While the buffet dinner was soso as they only offered 1 chicken wing to each tourist, the night in bedouin camp was interesting with traditional music and dance.

However, I believe that some staff stole money from my bag.

I put several US$100 bills as well as my driving license in an envelop saved on an interlayer of my bag. In Amman and Petra I was pretty sure everything was fine because I do have accounting on daily expense during my journey for decades. In addition, the envelop was put into the safe in hotel room completely.

When I arrived in Aqaba after the desert journey, I tried to exchange some dinars and found that two US$100 bills were lost while the remaining ones were obviously wrinkled (my bills were brand new in series as I withdrew from bank before departure). In addition, my driving license was taken outside of this envelop. Apparently, somebody touched the envelop.

The only chance I left this bag unaccompanies was during the tour, either in the desert or in the campsite when I was eating on another tent.

If you take tour in Wadi Rum, do keep extra cautious on your belongings.

Attallah and his team were amazing. They live up to the hype on these great postings. They arranged pickup and magically showed up, the camel and vehicle coordination were great for our huge family and the food and entertainment was spot on.

My only recommendation is to call and ensure pricing and activities in advance. What I was shown on booking.com and what I paid was significantly different. It all turned out great but was very frustrated with the doubling of the cost. A call in advance might preclude this in stride negotiation.

In the end, the team at Bedouin Lifestyle Camp will make a great vacation for your family of any size.

Me and my son have spent 2 nights, organised by Bedouin Lifestyle and it was amazing. First day we've spent on a jeep, driving around the desert and visiting many nice spots. At midday our super cool and nice driver/cook/guide made a lunch for us in the middle of nowhere. We also walked a lot and tried sandboarding. Our first night in Wadi Rum was under the stars at a movielike location and delicious dinner on top. The next day we had a chance to ride camels and later we were driven to a camp where it was super clean and food was provided through the day. The evening was the most special when we gathered around fire having the most delicious bedouin dinner, then some music and tea. Totally recomend.

COVID has been really tough on this tourist community, and without funding, some areas of the camp have deteriorated and need a bit of smartening up and cleaning. breakfast could also do with improvement including fruit and knives etc.

Liaison with Attallah, how owns the business was efficient and he and his family were super friendly.

That said, if the reason to go is to ride a camel for a whole day into the White Desert, and to sleep under the stars, listening to the deafening silence, this is a great place to go to, and our time led by Sala all day was truly unique.

We are a couple who took my 16 year old brother on a week trip to Jordan. We booked the full day jeep tour on a sharing basis to save costs but also the more people the merrier it can be. This included two double rooms with bathroom attached, lunch, dinner and breakfast the following morning. We were able to sign in at the visitor centre and then go onto the village. We were able to leave our car securely parked at the offices. We arrived at the offices and I preferred to pay upfront so it was taken care of rather than the following day. Just after 10am, were taken the short 15 min ride to the camp to unload and to commence the tour. I'd recommend just taking what you need and leaving the rest in the car although take all valuables and documents with you as you usually would.

The main reasons I booked the Lifestyle Camp is I liked how clear their website was with pricing. I didn't want to book something only to be told thee was more to pay. There are other options of tours such as half day etc and you can add in camel rides and trips under the stars but we just did the full day tour which was enough for us and fitted in budget. Plus, the main guy was super quick with email responses.

Plus, the reviews were top notch so that helped. We could have stayed at a more expensive looking place but I'm not sure if you'd have gained anything other than a slightly better bathroom and AC in the room. It wasn't worth the cost for the night and I wasn't convinced they were geared towards offering a good tour at a reasonable price.

The tour was excellent and I think the highlight of many highlights of Jordan! Our guide, Rye, a young lad, was excellent! Knew the rum like the back of his hand and was having fun with us at the same time. He really made the trip but it would be fair to say all the guides appeared to be friendly and knowledgeable. The food was good. Simple and cooked well. No stomach issues. The rooms were good with a comfy bed and bathroom that worked. We didn't want to be walking around outside for the toilet so the bathroom was convenient. There is elerticity with British plug sockets. No WiFi and limited 4g mobile onsite but enough for emails and airline check in.

We did all the things listed such as the two bridges, Canyon walks, lunch, sandboarding (although unsuccessfully) and amazing views plus mint tea at sunset. A proper full day was had. There was plenty of water included and most stayed frozen and cool. The dinner was plentiful although we did go to bed before the entertainment as we had had a along week and were flying home the next day.

I don't think you need more than a day here but some preferred two as not to cram it in.

I'd highly recommend this camp and if I were to ever return I would definitely book here again.

Amazing! We were dubious about driving to a strangers house and leaving our hire car there for a night to venture in the desert. We needn’t have been!! Wadi rum is absolutely incredible! It’s a full day of touring and lots of stops and things to see. The lunch our guide cooked for us was beautiful. He was smiley and friendly - a great guy. The only thing I would say could be improved is that he could have just done a bit more explaining of what was what and why it was significant. But his English wasn’t great.

The lunch and dinner were both lovely. They do a bit show and tell of how the meat and veg are cooked and then there was music, dancing and singing! A lot of fun. They got everyone going.

The showers and bedrooms were basic but clean and totally acceptable. Beds are raised off the floor and the hut even had a working light and plug socket for battery charging.

We were well fed and watered throughout. The breakfast was not great it it did the job.

Perhaps if you don’t like “organised fun” this might not be for you - there was some telling us when and where to be at different times and this is when we sing, dance, etc. But we enjoyed it.

Totally worth the money. Do not take shoes/clothing you care about. The sand will ruin it.

Initially we had booked a 2-hour 4x4 tour but we when we arrived at the office in Wadi Rum, they proposed us to change it to a 6-hour tour. Best choice ever! We had the most amazing experience driving through the desert. The landscape was incredibly beautiful. We also had the best driver/guide Jalal to accompany us. He was very friendly, knew his way around, showed us some really spectacular sights and changed into a photographer whenever needed. He took some really nice pictures of us! After tea and sunset in the dessert he took us to the tent camp. The camp itself had all the necessary amenities: fresh bedsheets, clean shower and toilet unit and even mosquito repellent in each tent. We got a traditional meal which was very tasty and we ended the night singing and drinking tea around the fire under the brightest starry sky.
I would highly recommend the Bedouin Lifestyle Camp. They gave my family an unforgettable experience! And again special thanks to our driver Jalal. He made this trip even better!

I finally managed to get a response but it was via booking. I suggest you book first with them, which can be cancelled free of charge if it doesn’t work out. Generally after booking they respond within a day. But yes email or WhatsApp didn’t elicit any response in my case. Still giving them the benefit since there are so many good reviews but it’s definitely not connectivity since all WhatsApp messages show as being read.

Once you arrive to Wadi Rum village by rental car, taxi, or bus. You will be dropped of at the gathering point where the Tours start or your trip to the camp begins. Exact timings depends on what program you have selected. So best contact the camp. I did a full day Jeep tour that started at 10am. Extra expenses should be few Jordanian Dinars to enter the park, and tips.

For any camp you are considering read the reviews and see if there have been any complaints from single women about safety. You will be grouped with other travellers when you go on the day tour. In the evening everyone at the camp hang around the fire and a single person can easily join in with others. The tents that have the private bathrooms are away from the camp and less people stay in this tent block. If you take the normal precautions for single women you should be ok.
