Dirty, cockroach infested room, electricity and water cut-off for prolonged period, blocked toilet drainage, no toilet paper provided. I hardly EVER write a bad review for an accommodation. Damai resort is the worst accommodation i've stay in a very long time. Never again.

This resort is near to the jetty, upon arriving, you can place your bags in the motorcycle, they will carry it for you, if you cannot wait, you can just bring it by yourself. 1. Room is clean, no toiletries, no kettle, no tea nor coffee, no drinking water 2. Nearby got stall, delicious laksa, burgers, local dishes and drink...

Basic resort for short holiday, good dive centre and beach front resort. At night there is a karaoke facility provided by the resort. Good dive centre and place to hanging out at night, nice foods at resort's restaurant

First, if you want to go to Tioman, avoid Kampung Genting. Second, if you really need to go to Kampung Genting, avoid Damai at all cost. It is that bad. The room size is okay. There is no drinking water, no kettle in your room, the water pressure in the shower is terrible. You need to request for towel, otherwise...

I stayed here for my advanced diving course with my family and my wife's cousin. if you are looking for a complete amenity room, this is not the place. but they have all the basic things like hot water, AC. Our meals are served at the reception cum restaurant area which were good. had the pleasure to meet the owner,...

the food is delicious, Chalet was ok but sometimes no water inside the toilet especially during morning. Maybe due to low pressure. There is several convenience store and local shop to grab some snack and chill.

It's been a long time since I've stayed in accommodation like Damai. I've grown accustomed to big fluffy comforters, bath robes and carpeted floors when travelling. Be warned - you will find none of those things here. What you will find is a decent room with clean sheets, functioning a/c, functioning hot water heaters and that is more than sufficient....

I stayed there for 3 days 2 nights. Took their full board package which included the snorkeling trip and buffet meals. Me and my friends very like their foods, super tasty with plenty of choices. However if you're late, there might be no food left for you. The staffs there were friendly as well. There's not much of activities you...

This is not a 5-star resort with fine dining service or 50x20 infinity swimming pool. And why should it be when you have good local food and the sea right in front of you? (The resort's reception and dining area is located at the beach, facing the sea) Anyway, it is family-run resort with a homely feeling attached to it....
