Definitely one of the best stays we've had at a beach resort. Cosy and such friendly people gives warmth to the place. Everyone is made to feel like family and you almost forgot that you are the customer! Food is good but not for the greedy. Really cool owner who took the effort to give personalised service. Great staff too.....

I have stayed at Minang Cove 3 times already. From the reveiws I have read here I would like to explain why Minang Cove is a place that either people love or don't. The rooms are quite basic (I would reccomend staying in their slightly more expensive rooms), and it is really quiet. The food is good and not 5...

We read about the rave reviews of this resort in Trip Advisor and decided to give it a try. So in early September, we stayed at this resort for 6 nights and (as is stated in the title) we came away with a most unusual and undesirable experience. First, a note about us... my wife and I are advanced recreation...

Having just returned from a week’s holiday on Tioman Island, I can honestly say that I’ve just spent it in paradise! Minang Cove is a very special place, set on a beautiful island and surrounded by stunning scenery - it really felt like we were living in the jungle at times! When 8 girls descended on the resort, I’m not...

We were picked up by boat by the hotel staff at ABC, who then took us to Minang Cove. We had only booked a weekend there, and wished we had stayed longer. The staff was very nice and attentative. Great service! The hotel and rooms in general were very clean and tidy. The food was excellent and the wine selection...

Tioman island is a paradise island, with clear blue water and white sandy beaches, and this resort is also perfect for those wanting peace and relax. The resort is small but very quaint and charming, and due to its size you are given first class treatment from the staff who take their time in getting to know you and take...

ON the negative side -rooms are certainly basic - the air conditioner is barely adequate. Bathroom smells. There are no activities so if it rains be prepared to read. Unless you are in top physical condition, jungle trekking is out since the trail is steep and difficult. There is also no walking on the beach because it is too small....

The reviews of these hotel were a mix of positive and negative impressions but honestly we can only say good things of this place. The arrival is absolutely spectacular: the hotel is nestled in a very secluded bay with the jungle as a background and crystalline water. Upon arrival the "famous" Vicky (she's a sort of general manager of the...

My finace and I arrived here without a reservation and they managed to fit us in for 4 nights. We had a lovely time here, it's very exclusive and Vicky and Alex and Craig were awesome. The cocktails were great, if a little expensive and the food good. Although I am vegetarian and they made me some veggie meals but...

We had a fantastic stay at Minang Cove, it's hard to know where to begin. To be fair, the place is endowed with enough natural beauty you don't need to add much (you can't really improve on perfection). But Minang Cove did add to the experience - very warm and relaxed staff, amazing malaysian food, great dive facilities, clean grounds...
