The location of the resort is picturesque and remote, so it offers a relaxing time away from it all. The staff are very helpful and nothing seems too difficult for them to sort. The biggest issue with the resort is the food..it's very limited and tasteless. There is very little variety in terms of flavouring and most things are dripping...

This is NOT a luxury resort. However, I would give a qualified recommendation about this place. The island itself is amazing. The price tag reflects the fact that you are 1 hour away by boat from the main island and the place is out of this world. AND this is one of the few islands that are not just a...

1. Scenery: The scenery is amazing. The moment when we landed on the island, we were all out of breah. The crystal transparent ocean, the clear blue sky, yellow bright sunshine, sugar white sand, etc. It is an idea place for swimming and snorkeling, enjoying the sunbath peacefully, or just simply reading a book. 2. Room: We chose beach villa....

We just completed a four night stay at the Pom Pom Resort and concur with others who think the location in the middle of a marine wilderness is drop dead fabulous, the bungalows are wonderful, and the staff very caring and friendly. However, we as we paid $350 USD per night to stay there, we had hoped for a little...

We stayed at Pom Pom three nights for our honeymoon. The beach and location was exceeding all our expectations, so beautiful! We stayed in a beach villa which was great because the snorkeling was just a few meters from of our veranda. The staff was very friendly and helpful! I have read that people are not completely satisfied with the...

My husband and I had a wonderful stay in a beach bure which was very spacious and bed very comfortable. There was a wardrobe with lots of space for clothes and also drawers. Also a table and 2 chairs in the room. There was tea and coffee making facilities and although they didn't provide drinking water there was a big...

Paradise does exist! Wonderful hotel, very calm and peaceful. Simple food but good. Simple service but full of smile. Nice little houses on the beach. Very cleaned beaches compared to other hotels in the area. Try the Signature Massage with the ying yang spa's team. Agnes who made this massage for me was incredible! A lot of baby turtles releases...

When you arrive, by the boat, from Semporna, at the jetty of the resort, your eyes don't know where to go... The blue sky (it's a place where the good weather is guaranteed the whole year, no monsoon), the white sand or the translucid water. It's just breathtaking. It's really cool. The rooms (villas) are comfortables, recents, air-conditionned and very...

First of all, I would like to differentiate between the island itself and the resort. as for the island, it is amazing, full of all marine life you can imagine. We are not divers but we managed to see an uncountable number of fish species just snorkeling or simply from our bungalow. We stayed at an overwater bungalow which was...

My wife and I stayed at Pom Pom for four nights and were very happy with the idyllic location and our beautiful (if slightly run down) beachfront villa. We were more than happy with the service that we received but had the following issues: 1. The food was very Chinese orientated, with very little Malaysian food, to cater for the...
