You have to cross the river to get to this place. The rooms are comfortable with plenty of space. you are surrounded by jungle and sometimes get a visit from the wildlife. The meals provide variety and the staff are friendly

Fantastic sightings on the river and in the rain forest at night. A trip highlight. The lodge was basic, with a Storm Stork on the railing to greet us as we arrived. Small group of us, so great to enjoy our rides on the river....More

Yes. Kids at this age are very curious and kinabatangan River is a good destination for him to explore the nature.

You may need to arrange with the lodge as the only way in is by boat and I think each lodge has their own boats.

No nothing except one of the domestic cats which came in for a cuddle. This place was one of the highlights of our 10 month trip.
