Located at mile 4 of Sandakan, surrounded by shops, launderettes, banks and eateries etc, all are within walking distance. Ample of parking. Room is clean and come with balcony. However, the room is a bit dim and it would be better if slightly brighter.

Go sandakan for 5 days biz trip. Stay in this new and clean room. Very friendly reception. Having a bucket for your dirty cloth in the hotel toilet. Location where nearby a lot of cafe, bistro and pub. The hotel provide in room massage service with reasonable price too (but i didn't order any of them). SPA and massage center beside the hotel too. There are few bank nearby and many nice food nearby too.

The fact that the hotel is good value for money, in a good location for business, and clean - makes it OK.

But there are a few things not quite right about the hotel.
(1) The smoke. Unless you smoke, insist on a Non-Smoking room. The smoking rooms, I found, would "leak" in smoke through the bathroom from other rooms. The smoking rooms all have a balcony - but this faces a busy main road (i.e. noisier).
(2) The noise factor. There is a main road, and several night spots. Avoid rooms facing the main road, and to the left of the lifts.
(3) The free wifi. Yes it's free, but it is very unreliable and slow.
(4) No taxis. This is unfortunately a problem generally in Sabah, and unlike a big hotel, you won't have taxis waiting outside. Make sure you take a taxi driver's number if you will need one during your stay.

Breakfast is not available - but this is not a problem as there are many nice local shops to have a lovely and cheap breakfast literally on the doorstep of the hotel.

One of the cleanest rooms with basic facilities in Sandakan. Easy access to major areas and facilities. No breakfast or meals, but there are restaurants and plenty of watering holes just right next to the hotel. The neighboring spa and massage centre is another major plus... and extremely affordable and so relaxing after a hot and physical day trekking outside. I even rented a car for the day, pick up and return right at the lobby.

Everything about this hotel is good. Value for money, space, large shower area , cleanliness & it is very new.
The only thing is its poor sound proof system. Located near highway and above a night entertainment, it can be noisy if you are a light sleeper. Another issue is poor wifi connection and low speed.

Checked-in to Superior queen with balcony, but unfortunately the sliding door to the balcony is broken and not able to lock the sliding door. They put a metal bar underneath as a stopper, but the door is still able to slide open to create a gap. So I asked to change the room and unfortunately as well I have to pay for a more expensive room because they ran out of superior queen.

Superior king room is clean and spacious. The free wifi is working well, the toilet is in excellent condition, no problem with hot shower, comfortable bed, comes with a fridge, kettle to make hot coffee or tea, the room generally seems to be properly maintained but the price is a bit too expensive as you can get sea view room at the waterfront area with this kind of price.

The location is convenient to look for breakfast/lunch/dinner as everything is within walking distance in Bandar Prima. From banking facilities to convenient stores.

Actually I've stayed at this hotel sometime in March 2012. This hotel listing wasn't in TA at that point in time. Well, it was at the time the newest hotel in Mile 4 area and I was there for business. Client actually booked this hotel for us as the owner was his friend.

Hotel is not bad, can't complain much as everything was pretty new at that time. Interior wise, a glass separates the bathroom and bedroom, so it's more of an open and transparent concept within the room.

Location wise is definitely livelier compared to Sandakan so called "waterfront area". More restaurants, bar/pubs, banks and grocery shops.

After staying in this hotel for 2 nights I can vouch that this is a nice and comfortable place to stay in for your next trip to Sandakan. The reception staff were helpful, the room was spacious enough for a couple, even with a child. Good room facilities like toiletries, good free wifi
Connections, good TV and clear receptions. There is also an adjoining massage parlour, and good local restaurants, laundrette, sourvenir shops nearby. So ideally in a good location for your stay either for business, holiday or other activities.

A very nice boutique hotel, the room is clean & quiet... There's a spa right next door owned by the same hotel.very convenient for those without a transport, walking distance to many restaurants & clubs & other entertainment outlets. Walking distance away from 7-E, watson & laundry shop.

Rm166 for a superior room.

Up:- Room is clean, spacious, working shower.

Down:- no security safe inside the room, wifi is slow, poor sound proofing in rooms. They do not serve breakfast.

Food:- there's no inhouse kitchen hence you need to walk/drive to find food at nearby shops.

Pizzahut and other local food outlet is walking distance from the hotel.
