We had an amazing time at Crocodile Rock Villas. We stayed for 3 nights and only wish we stayed for longer. Everything was perfect! The cabins are beautiful, spacious and comfortable (each bed has a mosquito net and the hot water shower is indeed hot). The food served at the Bistro is amazing and so good, freshly cooked with organic ingredients. We ate there everyday! You can snorkel right in front of the villas or walk maybe 3mn to get to a beautiful sandy beach (snorkeling gears are complimentary). No need to swim far; so many fish right by the beach. I also like what the owners are doing to help protect our planet, like providing reef safe soap and free filtered water to refill your bottles.

Where is the Malaysian Hospitality? Went there last week. Horrible experience. Planning to stay there 2 nights, end up checked out after 1 night. 1) Upon check-in, we didn't get a friendly welcome from the host. Just a sour face from her when we humbly asked if we could pay extra beds for our friends. Our request got declined because it will exceed the maximum pax of the room (we totally understand). But why the sour face? Not even a welcoming greeting toward us. We are your guests after all. But we still in a good mood since we just arrived and looking forward for a good weekend here at crocodile rock. 2) The host's dog keep on barking on us for no reason. This barking experiences lead to the next horrible event that happened to us during our 1st night there. On the 1st night, we came back late to the room around 1.20am bcs we were walking back from Long beach to our room (around 40 min walk). Tired from the long walk, we offered our friends (who stayed at Chomel Chalet) for a quick break, drink and resting before they continue their walk back to their chalet. Our friends didn't come inside our room, just stay at the balcony only On the way from the lobby to our room, the dog barked at us super loud resulting the host to wake up and checking on us. The host went to our room asking why so many people and we explained to her the situation and then she asked us not to make a loud noise since other guests are sleeping. We understand and we asked our friends to leave right away. But, after 1 minute the owner left, 1 man (probably the husband/worker) came to our room and asked my friend RUDELY to leave the premises at once. We were utter shocked from the rude request. You don't have to asked us twice and definitely not with the rude tone of yours. SUPER RUDE ATTITUDE. 3) The loud noise definitely came from the dog and not from us. We didn't make any scene, no loud noise what so ever. 4) We as the guest have the right to came back to our room any time that we please. As long as we didn't interrupt other guest. The host can ask our friends to leave (totally understand) but WHY THE RUDE BEHAVIOUR TOWARD US? 5) The place - our room is decent with basic necessities. The view is good. The environment is great. The host?…

Perfect place to escape from busy city life. Here you find tranquility with nature. A friend introduces me this place in 2018 and had been back on a yearly basic since. Every stay is a memorable experience.

5 star no doubt. We enjoyed our stay very much. Our villa is very spacious and comfortable. Everyone should try snorkling at the front of the resort. The area is full of corals and fishes. The water in the area is crystal clear. By the way their Chicken Burger is a must try for dinner.

Beautiful timber cabins in a quiet rainforest setting, with top-quality food, and a caring host family. Good snorkelling straight out the front of the accommodation. Easy walk to Coral Bay for dive shops and warungs. And you can refill your own water bottle here (no more plastic waste). I recommend you stay a few nights and work your way through the delicious menu.

Having been extremely fortunate to find myself @ Crockrock Villas Perhentian Islands for the COVID19 lockdown I have only the best things to say about this fantastic villa resort. After more than 70 nights there I still didn’t want to leave this amazingly peaceful place. Beautiful stylishly designed wooden bungalows in a fabulous setting in the lush wild nature of Perhentian Cecil Island. Great hosts and staff who know how to treat their guests and serving the best food the island has to offer. Away from it all but yet still walking distance to so many stunning beaches. I left this place with a heavy heart and know I will return someday. Thanks you Erica, Atord & family and staff for an unforgettable experience.

What an amazing place! I will never forget our 4 days here. The villas are clean and well maintained. Drinking water refills and use of snorkeling gear are complementary The food is amazing with decent vegetarian options. One of my favorite things were the breakfasts. Having a perfect green banana pancake, a fresh mango lassie and a good cup of coffee with some quite relaxing music in the backgroud while staring at the Ocean and watching the squirls and the gekko’s run around in the trees. The whole place breathes chilled out vibes. Erica and Atord are very friendly and helpful. Erica is very practical and is an endless source of information on anything Perhentian. Atord is quite the character and always ready with a story and fun facts. Both seem to really love what they do and want to take care of the island as well. If we ever make it back to the perhentians we wont even bother looking for another place to stay.…

Stayed for three wonderful nights in the safari tents. The tents are on raised wooden platforms with a separate washing area and full size double bed. Everything was comfortable and spotless and the tents had lots of room plus their own balcony. The restaurant did breakfast every day and the banana pancakes were a great start to the day. Evening meals in the restaurant (not on Tuesday or Saturday) were way better than the standard island resort fare. The hosts (Erica, Atord and the team) were all really welcoming and accommodating. It’s a family run resort and a very personal welcome. The resort is also very respectful of the environment it’s in. You can hardly see it from the sea as the tents and villas are all hidden in the tree line.
