We arrived on the Perhentian Islands with no booked accommodation but other travellers advised us this would be okay if we took an early enough boat from Kuala Besut. Reception staff were welcoming and understanding that we had nowhere booked and showed us the bungalows available. At 190RM/night it was over many peoples' budget but we took the bungalow. The...

Don't go there! In comparison to other places it is much more expensive with same low standard. The owner is a stubborn and unfriendly man. The cook is a choleric Diva! My friend is vegetarian and also can't eat eggs, since we book in advance online (first mistake because prices are double) we ask if she could get her money...

We stayed here for just one night when we miscalculated our dates and the staff could not do more to accomodate. The room rate was cheaper than competitors on Coral Bay and included both air con and a fan. We were placed very high up, so the views were incredible. A nice viewing deck for dinner too. Coral Bay itself...

I spent 5 nights at Senja Bay. There was attention to details, and management and staff know what they are doing! They really go the extra mile for you! The room with fan and private bathroom was clean and comfortable and you could have a hot shower. The view was incredible as I was quite high up. There is a...

There are only a few options for staying on Coral Bay -- especially if you want an air-conditioned private room with bathroom without spending $100 a night -- and Senja is certainly in the top tier. And, let's be honest, you really cannot beat the location. That all said, it would be nice if they tried just a little bit....

I stayed here for 3D2N and it was amazing ! The staff is super nice and helpful. We reached really early but our room is ready so we can straight away checked in. Of course this is due to the previous visitor checked out early. The food is just normal Malaysian meal but consider nice. The snorkeling trip is AMAZING....

The location and view is sensational. Yes the food could be better. Yes the service could be better, but this is not a high end five star establishment and nor does it pretend to be. I found the staff to be very friendly, courteous and helpful when I asked for anything without any kind of disinterest or grudge. Their heart...

Spend there 8 days, don't regret it. Great location with an outstanding view, staff is friendly but unfortunately not everyone speaks good English. The restaurant is ok, could be better! The migoreng mamak probably one of the best dishes there. Sometimes there were only two guest but 5 staff on, just standing around - waste of money if you ask...

Stayed in senja bay resort for 3 days 2 nights with 4 families. To be honest , nothing to shout about on the accommodation but everyone of us came here without any expectation .
