The Riad Assilah is an absolute delight. It is not grand, just very pretty, very comfortable and perfectly located (although we got lost trying to get back on the first night!).

I absolutely agree - Beldi bab Ssour.! We really enjoyed food there ;it’s quirky ,busy, and authentic! I would avoid the restaurants facing the square with the young touts trying to cajole passers-by into their eating at the particular restaurant. Food is more expensive and not nearly as nice. We also stayed at Riad Assilah - just ask the young man at front desk for directions, it’s not far , just around the corner really.
