located in the heart of the old blue medina of Chefchaouen and adjacent to the magnificent Kasbah, Hotel VANCII is located on the main boulevard Hassan II only 1 minute walk from the Outta lhamam square and 5 minutes from the waterfalls of Ras Elma. In addition to its exceptional location, it has a unique terrace offering a wonderful 360° view of the mountain, the kasbah and the entire old city. The roof top has a very zen atmosphere and a typical Moroccan lounge style with Berber lounges and chairs, where you can relax. The comfortable and air-conditioned rooms of Hotel Vancii combine modernity and authenticity. With a refined private bathroom with shower, they are equipped with useful and functional amenities including a TV and a hairdryer, as well as a mini bar and a safe box in the suites. Of course, you will have access to a Wi-Fi connection throughout the establishment. Every morning, a fresh and varied Moroccan breakfast is served. Our team speak Arabic, French, English and Spanish!

We got a room with window/balcony facing the front street with azure blue clear sky, the mountain range and blue buildings as the picturesque backdrop.
We checked in groups of families around 1.30pm but their room making is not ready around 2.30-3pm. Given the manpower shortage, we commended that their room making staff were trying their best.
Basic amenities were available except for bathroom mat and floor towel but service was fast upon request. Beverages and pantry condiments were not provided.
Still, this hotel was the best of all we have had throughout our Morocco tour.
Chinese food was not bad. After exploring the Morocca meals for days, this was a sweet recall of our home country food.

Warning the instructions (e.g. air conditioning ) are not in English Breakfast served at the table, you are not asked what you want, too bad, it avoids the waste. The highlight is that the breakfast service is on the terrace overlooking Chefchaouen.

The hotel is very well located with a very nice terrace with 360º view, perhaps one of the best terraces of Chefchaouen. The rooms are standard but very clean. They have good prices in the bar located in the entrance, specially to have dinner (10€). But in the morning, this is an hotel that starts very late. The breakfast was served in the terrace from 7:30, but it was actually served only at 7:50. For me was an issue because I prefered to eat at 7:30 since I wanted to be taking pictures in Chefchaouen very early in the morning, before tourists arrive and shops open. They really need to star their services earlier at this hotel.

Most positive thing I can say is that the location was good, being just down from the market square. This is the only place we've found in Morocco where the reception wasn't friendly. Our room was large and impersonal, but our toilet had a water leak and our shower flooded as the drainage didn't work well. There was no roof top bar ( or any bar at all). Our friends had a room with a balcony which was delightful for us all to hang out in, but the rest of their room space was cramped. Oh and the small lift (6 floors to the breakfast balcony) goes up or down but not necessarily the direction you want to go.

At Cultural Morocco Tours, we consistently book this hotel for our guests, and it never disappoints. Ideally located near the main square in the blue town, it offers convenience and charm. The staff are exceptionally friendly, and the service and comfort provided are top-notch. We highly recommend it for an outstanding stay.

This hotel had many good things about it. The location is great, the beds were comfortable, the air conditioning worked, the shower was good and the breakfast was good. However it was very noisy from outside noise and people in neighbouring rooms. We kept getting woken up. We were on a room facing the front street. Perhaps a room at the back would be quieter

Can I Hotel sits on the Main Street, it was very noisy all night with car, motorbikes and people yelling, staff were cold and unwelcoming. A bad breakfast that was more Asian than Moroccan. The hotel was clean with most amenities in the room except there was no safe. I would not recommend staying here.

Good hotel located in the heart of Medina (Old city) of Shafshaun. This boutique hotel is built new and has modern design. Rooms are very clean. The best room is 607 which has a small balcony with a perfect view on the old city and mountains. The staff is very friendly and supportive! There 2 terraces on the top of the hotel from which there is an excellent view on the Old city and mountains. On one terrace visitors can have breakfast. The other one is designed in a traditional Moroccan style - covered with carpets, pillows and one can sit and lye there and be fond of the views from the terrace.

What I liked most about the hotel was its excellent location close to the medina and good restaurants. The room is spacious and very spacious, the bed very comfortable and a very good bathroom. In addition, the hotel has a terrace where you have breakfast enjoying a spectacular view. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful. I would return without a doubt.

Very good service from front to end. Was greeted by a fluent English speaking staff who could communicate very well on local culture and things to do. We chatted on ChatGPT and Tourism and Instagram Algorithms and all. Very helpful to help contact my next hotel on my ETA and explained step by step how to book my Bus to Tetouan and Tangier, and the bellboy staff was so amazing and prompt in helping us with the taxi and estimated travel duration too. Highly recommended the suite with private terrace!
