Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Our family of 7 stayed at the camp for one night. It was a magical experience. First we did a trip through the desert on a dromedary watching the sunset. Once we arrived at the camp we were served delicious tea and cookies. The tents are very clean and spacious with its own shower and bathroom. The outdoors is gorgeous with lots of seating to take in the experience. At night after dinner we sat around the fire and enjoyed some local music and dance. I would definitely recommend this unique experience.

Property's Favourite Review
This place was magical. After a small trip through the desert on a dromedary, and watching the sunset, we arrived in the camp. The tents are very clean and spacious. Each tent has its own shower and bathroom. The garden is like in a fairy tale with a lot of different places to sit and watch the beautiful view. After enjoying the sunrise, and a nice breakfast, we left by 4x4 to our tour bus. A pity, it was a visit too short, but a place to come back certainly.

Perfectly organized trip from Marrakech to the camp and back by Hassan and his crew. Three days of unforgettable experience including the drive through the Atlas Mountains, two nights at the luxury camp, and a day full of activities in the Sahara Desert. All under a watchful eye of (also) Hassan who masterfully guided us through the whole tree days. Food and accommodation at the camp was first class. Not to mention perfect sunrise and sunset.

I think it was the highlight of my trip in Morocco. I loved every minute I spent in this desert camp. Beautiful settings, decoration and precisely clean. Delicious food, I frankly think it was the best food I ate in Morocco. The staff is so friendly and so nice, they will do everything to make your stay unique and great. They speak great English, Spanish, French, Italian and German. Josef and his team created beautiful relaxing atmosphere. It the evening it was fire and a music performance what touches your soul and mind. They engaged all of the visitors in playing musical instrument and dancing. It all happens under the stars and moon, in a little oasis in the middle of the Sahara desert. Thank you Yousif for such special time of my life. Thank you Mohammed and your company for organizing this incredible trip

An incredibly luxurious glamping experience. The "tents" had wooden floors, full bathrooms with showers, and very comfortable beds. Arrive in the early afternoon so you can do a camel ride and watch the sunset over the dunes. Dinner and breakfast were excellent, and they accommodated some dietary restrictions. While we were concerned about being cold at night in the desert, we had 100-degree temperatures during the day and the nights were comfortable.

I stayed at the Sahara Sky Luxury Camp in September 2023 during a solo trip to Morocco. The Sahara is a magical place and the camp was immaculate. I stayed 3 nights at the camp and as a female, I felt completely safe there. In fact, the staff treated me like family. The meals were delicious and I was overfed! My activities included camel riding, quad’ing, sand surfing, a tour around Merzouga and a cooking lesson where I learnt how to make tajine. My time at the Sahara Sky Luxury Camp was out of this world!

We loved our stay at Sahara Sky Luxury Camp. Especially our kids (10 months old and 2.5 year old) had an amazing time. The camelride, the tent, the food (!!!), the amazing hospitality. We had a great time. The only thing I recommend is helping people to get to the meetingpoint. It was really hard to find because there are no ways 😉 When we come to Morroco again, we will definitly stay here again!!

We absolutely loved this experience which included a camel ride or 4WD to and from the camp. Merzouga is on the edge of the Sahara it’s about a 30 minute ride into the camp, and when I say camp, I really mean glamp, as the tents had running water and wifi. The food was quite good but the highlight was the night fire, music and dancing. As we visited in the peak of summer, it was very hot to sleep. A low of 35 degrees with no breeze. Id suggest visiting before or after summer or I have also read you can sleep outside which might be nice if you visit when it’s really hot. I think I’d like to see drinking water being included in the accommodation and meal package.
