We spent in Dar el Khamlia few days and Brahim arrange for us a trip to Erg Chebi with camels. We enjoyed our stay there very much and had a lot of fun with Brahim and his friend Omar during our trip. We all felt there as being really welcomed and dearest guests. Dar el Khamlia and Khamlia village are perfect places to relax, to see many interesting things such as huge Sahara dunes, Nomad's tents,wild camels,rocky mountains,small lake with many birds around...You can live in Brahim's family house ,you can see how people in the village live,you can taste typical Moroccan food and enjoy big hospitality of the locals. We very recomend to visit guest house in Dar el Khamlia! You will find real life in village in Sahara with no other tourists. Accomodation and food are OK. Trip to Sahara to huge dunas is marvellous. This experience stay in your mind for all life. Alan + Kristyna

It was perfect place for us because we wanted to be amoung the locals and without other hotels around. The guest house was really nice and comfortable, exactly what we wish to have for stay in the desert so we could imagine a life there too. The family were very nice and the food excellent. The perfect retreat away from the big hotels and tourists. Living with a local family you get a true sense of the desert and the way of life there. The family were great, the food out of this world, and their hospitality fantastic. we were very sad to leave as we were made to feel so at home there and...

It is perfect also for those who are tired of hotels and want to be near the local people. The rooms are nice and clean with bathroom. Bed and Breakfast or Half board. Nice view over the desert and village. Dar el Khamlia can also arrange different tours:- camel trek with overnight into sand dunes. You will sleep in Beduin tent, watch sunrise/sunset- half or one day excursion by 4x4 behind sand dunes, to lake with flamingos, mineral mine, fossils, old painting in the rock, genuine market in Rissani and other- listen to Gnawa music, just in villageWe speak English, French, and Spanish. ... more   less
