Moha made us feel so welcome. The rooms were spotless and all one could want. His arrangements for the night under the stars and camel rides went without a hitch and the food served was way above expectations. Many Thanks

After having been to the Sahara for the first time in March 2019 and staying at a luxury tent campsite I knew this was not the Sahara experience I had envisioned. After doing extensive research I decided to book a week at the Riad Aicha which is located next to Merzouga and perfectly situated for exploring. Riad Aicha provided all of their insight into helping to plan and see this most extraordinary part of the world. For me personally every time I leave Morocco I leave a piece of my heart somewhere but this time I left a huge piece of my heart to Moha and Ibrahim and the rest of their family who own and manage this authentic family owned Riad. I am already planning to return in 2020 to their Riad for further adventures with them. From the simplicity of their rooms, their attention to making all of your adventures come true, and the delicious food could only be better if I could stay for one year. We had lunch with Moha’s and Ibrahim’s family. Moha and Ibrahim had tremendous patience as we took pictures everywhere, went four wheeling in the dunes, climbed the highest dune, went to remote places in the Sahara, climbed glorious mountains, had a picnic in the Safi Safi Oasis and many other adventures. I felt like I was with great friends going through this wonderful land. Thank you to both of you, your family and friends for being there from start to finish and making this extraordinary adventure come true for me. Your compassion and sense of humor will never be forgotten.

Riad Aicha provided a wonderful desert experience for us. Because our plans changed we didn't end up staying in the riad (which looked very nice) but kept our reservations for the trip they offer to the desert. The owners were very nice, the communication was excellent and they were more than accommodating. We spent one night in a luxury camp in the Erg Chebbi and it was the highlight of our trip to Morocco. I was very impressed by the guides, who were completely conversant in several languages. Some of them told us they were born in the desert to nomadic families and in talking to them (and experiencing the beauty of the desert ourselves) we began to understand the pull it can have on you. It's silent, severe, utterly calm and far removed from everything we are familiar with, yet soothing and beautiful. Apparently you can spend longer - a week or longer through Riad Aicha, to meditate, pray or commune with nature. It would be a once in a lifetime experience. I'd recommend this riad to anyone who wants a great desert experience. By the way, if I understand correctly, it isn't in the town of Merzouga per se, but right next to it and, from what I've heard, a nicer experience than being in the town.

We loved the owners of this hotel. They were compassionate, honest, and always eager to go above and beyond. They even took us on a walking tour of this little village outside of Merzouga for free. The hotel is also really cool.

I was very satisfied with hostel 'riad aicha'. The host greet us so friendly. They provided us not only desert tour, but also drive tour to nearby lake. We saw uncountable stars. Breakfast was very delicious! Also we asked for laundry and they helped us!! It will be a nice place to stay here during merzuga!.

I am so glad I did my research before we went to Merzouga. Our kids were looking forward to the trip on camels overnight and I wanted to find the best riad or company to take us. Riad Aicha is perfect. The owner is so friendly, the overnight trip on camels was one of the highlights of our trip. We loved the small group, small camp, everyone was friendly, breakfast and dinner were amazing. I highly recommend dining at the riad. after we came back from our trip to the desert on camels, we wanted to see the rest of the area by car. You need a 4-wheel drive but the owner arranged for one with a guide, who took us sightseeing, drove through dunes, took us for lunch at a fancy hotel with a pool so that the kids could take a dip there. It could not have been better. My son had a blast learning how to tie it on his head and around his face. If we wanted to go to Merzouga again, we would definitely return.

The brothers who run this riad are some of the best hosts in Morocco. The room was clean and comfortable and my stay was wonderful. They let me sleep in a room before I even checked in when I got off my overnight bus. Then they helped me plan my time in Merzouga and the desert. I had only booked a one night desert tour and was worried I would have too much time in Merzouga on my second day, but Ibrahim took me to the Rissani market and gave me a fascinating tour. Said helped me plan this and it was clear the brothers genuinely cared that I have a great time. The desert trip was amazing and I highly recommend that you go into the desert for as long as you can. It was the highlight of my time in Morocco. The sand is incredible, the moon rise and stars are wonderful, and the peacefulness is unparalleled. I was sad to leave and I would go back in a heartbeat.

We stayed in this Riad for one night and we liked it a lot. We had dinner and breakfast here and both were really good. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. On the roof you can enjoy the nice sunset. The owner is so nice too!
