Wonderful accommodation and facilities along with great staff who manage to provide an amazing Saharan experience. The auberge is placed literally in the middle of nowhere - if you drive there by night as we did, you feel that you leave behind any sign of civilization. It has a reasonably sized outdoor pool and terrace with a fantastic view over...

Fabulous location. Reasonably comfortable with fairly basic food. Very friendly waiters and staff. direct access to the dunes from the front door. Extensive desert activities available. Inexpensive. Location makes this a great intro to the desert

Our experience in Auberge du Sud was amazing. The staff is very friendly and can speak all the languages in this world. The food was delicious and very well made. We had opportunity to stay in 3 different rooms and every room is different with very nice moroccan decoration. The swimming pool was perfect.

This is really amazing. This auberge is so close to the sand dunes that it is almost possible touching them from the pool. we were very happy to be here. Although said earlier it is a throughly amazing experience being so close to the dunes in such a wonderful hotel. The kids ( 11,9, 7) loved the fact that the...

we found this place because it was recommended to us by friends who had stayed here before. The pool has excellent views on the sand dunes, and you can book all of your desert trips at the reception. The staff was friendly and the room we stayed in, clean. The food we tasted was absolutely delicious, and when we spent...

Well, the hype was there from other reviews: desert dunes, the night sky filled with stars, camels trekking you I to e desert to a wonderful overnight tenting experience: and that much was completely satisfying. The take-of and return point, however, left much to be desired. While the desert camp was luxurious, clean, the food excellent and the staff friendly,...

We loved to be there in the desert BUT Noisy moto quad cars were driving just few meters from us (and from other guests) while we just wanted to watch sunset and hear the sounds of the dessert. Next time I will look for hotel / Auberge that does not offer this kind of cars or offer them far from...

The desert is just in front of you, or I would say you are in the desert. You can enjoy camel ride twice during your one night stay, for sunset and sunrise. For sunrise camel ride, you need to get up early in the dark, but the meeting point is just there. After dinner, just look up into the sky....

I loved staying at Auberge Du Sud. The staff were friendly and it had everything needed for a great few days of relaxing in the desert. My time spent by the pool watching the sunset over the dunes was unbeatable. The hotel itself is not 5 star, so don't expect everything the be top quality. The wifi can be sketchy...
