Nice kasbah. Personnel is very friendly and helpful. Made me dinner although I didn't order beforehand. Nice room with good (but cold) shower. Everyone should realize that it's located in the middle of the palmeraie and thus you have to navigate an extensive length of dirt roads. I arrived just after sunset and would never have found the location if... More

We stayed at this Kashba completely on our own. They arranged someone to cook us a traditional dades tajine. It was the best meal from our entire trip, it was so good! The stay was quiet and pleasant and the people was really friendly. We enjoyed staying here.

I had the chance to be the only guest of the Kasbah for two nights. Very peaceful, lots of birds, fresh dates and pomegranate everywhere. Very friendly owner. I believe it's totally worth staying inside the oasis.

We slept in a bungalow just outside the kasbah itself - it was the most romantic place we stayed, by far, because we walked through the garden by candlelight to get there, and lay in our very simple room watching the candle burn down, cocooned by the oasis. And in the morning, birds singing and palm frond waving... due to... More

AS others have said, the kasbah is quite a ways out in the middle of the palmeraie, which we had not realized. We couldn't negotiate anything cheaper than 80 Dirhams, for a long hot dusty ride to the kasbah. We also were met by a guy on a motorbike, and it was quite confusing as to who exactly he was.... First of, this kasbah is quite hard to find. It sits about 7km into the palmarie down a maze of small dirt roads and over a dry river bed. Lonely planet does not mention this and luckily a guy on a motorcycle showed us the way. Our little rental car made it just fine. We didn't have a reservation when... More

The setting in the palmeraie and the kasbah itself are breathtaking. It felt truly special to sleep there. The owner and his wife are a bit reserved and seemed to feel that what i wanted most of all was peace and quiet, while actually i wouldve been happy to have a bit more conversation. Other than that they were very... More

I've never written a review before, but had such an awful experience here I thought I should warn other travelers. We stayed here 2 nights in April and it was 2 nights too long. Made a reservation and told them we would not be able to arrive until late. The man told us it was no problem. When we arrived... More

This is an excellent place to stay in the Oasis at Skoura. The rooms are in an authentic kasbah, built by the current owners ancestors, and the dining area is in the scenic vegetable garden where everything is grown for your meals. The surrounding oasis is great for exploring on foot or by bike, with decaying kasbahs hidden among the... More

We had booked through booking.com and also received email confirmation from Mohammed that they had our reservation, we also had left our card details so thought everything had been sorted. We had left Marrakech that morning, although the rental car company had messed us around and kept us waiting two hours so we left later than expected. We then drove... More
