We stayed here for 2 nights while we busted Machu Picchu. We had a private room but shared bathroom. The rooms were good but no ventalation. It became so hot we had to open our door during the night. The bathrooms/Showers were fine. Not much hot water but still felt good after a day in the ruins. The staff were...

The beds are super comfy, the staff is absolutely amazing, and the hostel has a really chill vibe. I'm so glad I stayed at supertramp. Its definitely one of the best hostel experiences I have had. Loved that it is owned by a Colombian guy too. Everyone who works there is really relaxed and very helpful.

I was recommended Supertramp by a friend who visited back in August as a solo backpacker en route to Machu Picchu and I loved this hostel. Free breakfast from 4:30-9:30am daily, extremely attentive staff, showers with warm water 24/7 and an incredibly cheap price. Quite a jovial upbeat place, amazing price and would highly recommend for anyone looking for a...

We stayed here for 2 nights during our stay in Peru. The dorm rooms didn't have enough sockets and only one of the three taps (for the whole hostel) was working. Then again this was one of the cheapest places to stay in Aguas Calientes. The staff was really friendly and gave us some nice tips. Also clean rooms and...

This place was great. Very comfy beds with warm blankets, hot showers, and great bar. The staff was the best! Big shout out to Santiago, Marcelo and the rest of the gang for making us feel so at home!

Basic backpacker hostel, but a nice perk is that they open breakfast at 4:30am for those trying to make the bus. Tip: The line for the bus gets very long, very quickly, so If you are traveling in a group, have one person go out and wait in line before breakfast opens to hold your spot and have your friends...

It is not located directly in the city centre, but as Aguas Clients is not too big that is not a problem. The staff is very nice and helpful here. The rooms and beds are clean and comfortable. There was always hot water for a nice shower (sooo good after hiking all day long!). The power went off a few...

I stayed here one night before hiking up to Machu Picchu, it's a nice hostel with a nice hang out spot and good WiFi. Beds were comfortable but never had a lot of sleep do to most people getting up early for Machu Picchu (it's what everyone is there for I'd say) but that's not a big deal. Breakfast was...

This is a super friendly hostel, all the staff is always willing to help you out, location is very good (it's nor a big town anyway) and also there's a bar on the roof of the hostel, nice vibe and cheap beer (specially in Aguascalientes where everything is overpriced!)

“Take a suitcase lock, since you can't use a standard sized one on the lockers. Don't leave passport or other valuables in the storage room. Basically, use common sense with your possessions. Tourists are frequently stolen from in Peru if they are not careful.”
