Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We went to Aguas Calientes with the 5 members of my family for 3 days and this small Hotel is magnificent, it gave us a super spacious room like the one we wanted so much to spend the night together, the location is perfect right in the center, everything was close , the staff is first class, they gave us a fascinating attention that made our stay perfect, being with them gave us a lot of information and directions. In the morning they gave us a delicious breakfast, the hot water works correctly, it is recommended to visit this place.

Grateful for the excellent guide they recommended to us.

The location is perfect, extremely close to the bus stop for Machu Picchu and also close to the train station. The staff was very nice and helpful, they stored our bags while we went to visit the ruins and let us use the bathroom afterwards. The building is a bit messy, but that happens in most places in this town. The beds were good, it was quiet enough and their breakfast was a very happy surprise, much better than expected!

We found this Hostal/Hotel online and glad we did.
It was within walking distance of everything.
The family own business was run to great precision.
We where met at the train station and talked a short distance to the hotel . On the way the owner pointed out the major things we need for our trip to
Machupichu (bus station , bus ticket window, recommended restaurants, the plaza ETC.)

During check they explained how everything would work in the morning and during checkout. We were even provided a breakfast to go early in the morning since we would not be able to partake in the breakfast severed at the hotel.

He owner and son went out of their way to provide some extra help. They were very kind and humble hosts.

I would highly recommend a stay here during your visit to Machupichu.

the super friendly staff, since we made the reservation they contacted us to have the departure time of our train and to wait for us, the location is perfect, close to the main square and bus stop to Machupicchu.
The room we reserved had all the necessary amenities, spacious, very clean and ventilated.
The breakfast that they gave us to bring exceeded our expectations, very good ............... nice experience I recommend them.

Service was the best thing about this hotel. They're waiting for you at the train station and it's a short walk across the bridge to the hotel. All of the staff are smiling and friendly. Very limited English but they use Google translate quite well to communicate with you. :) Rooms are a good size, but quite basic but clean. Bathroom is small but the water is hot. Unfortunately, we were there during elections, so the rallies didn't end until 1am. There's no soundproofing in the room, so it was quite loud. We were leaving at 5am for Machu Picchu, so they delivered a bagged breakfast to our room at 8pm the night before. It consists of bread, jam, an apple, a banana, an orange, a bottle of juice and a juice box.

The staff (Edilberto!) and the location are unbeatable! The hotel itself/ rooms are more/ less what you can expect for the price - staff is way above average and Edilberto really helped us very much in organising our machu picchu experience (we hadn’t prebooked our entry tickets..) —> huge thanks to you Edilberto!
