Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This place raises the bar. The secret stone is so clean and so comfortable. I had a great view of the beautiful river and mountains from my room. Joan (administrator)is an amazing person that will help point you toward the best things in Machu Pichu. The showers are very hot and the beds are very comfortable. There is even a tasty breakfast menu to choose from and it will be prepared for you at whatever time is needed. Even 4 am if you have an early ticket to Machu Pichu. You are the client yet they make you feel like part of their family. I will definitely stay here again.

Bed was really comfortable. Johan and Marie were so accommodating. We arrived in the evening after a long day of trekking and they got us to our rooms very quickly and understanding of how tired we were. The water was so loud being by the river at the end of rainy season that we were lulled to sleep both nights. All-natural sound machine. Hotel is close to everything. Rooms were clean and decorated uniquely. Breakfast in the morning was great, on top of the buffet Marie also scrambled eggs for anyone who requested. We had a great stay.

The hotel location is at the perfect spot, the rooms are cozy and well
Kept. They serve breakfast really early in the morning in case you want to take the first bus to Machu Pichu. You can walk right out and you will hit the main market. Highly recommend this place.

The room itself was quite as expected for $80 us. Beds very comfortable. Bath very limited with amenities. Breakfast was the WORST I've had in my travels of 4 to 5 months for the last 25 years. It's like the owner is burned out. We had to eat elsewhere even though they had signs offering many items.

Very friendly staff that helped accommodate our stay! Recommended friendly restaurants and told us about the history of the area. Also helped our transition from Machu Pichu and helped once we checked out. Definitely recommend!

A very good hotel, clean, the breakfast is simple but very tasty, the service at the reception was very good, a very friendly gentleman. The rooms have good beds, the shower is also very good. Wi-Fi and cable TV worked. You can hear the sound of the river that passes near the hotel, a delight for sleeping

I got a room facing the river, the sound of the water to sleep was wonderful

Very cordial service, hospitality is noticeable

Excellent bathroom shower, very complete breakfast

I highly recommend it, perhaps the only thing that could be improved would be the strong musty odor in the room, which was resolved by leaving the windows open, it's good to remember that it is located in the forest, and these things can happen
