Excellent hotel located in the middle of the jungle in Aguas Calientes. The service is unreal with the meet and greet at the train station. The rooms are so lovely and fit in nicely with the surroundings. The hot tub and sauna were great after a big day of exploring Machu Picchu! The food in the restaurant was exquisite

What a wonderful stay and surroundings. Yes, it helped that we got married there(!) and we were told that we were the first couple to actually get married on their grounds, Andean Shaman ceremony of course! Arrangements for the event were handled via email so of course we were a little anxious when we arrived. The staff could not have...

Very beautiful place. If you have time, go to the Ecotour and find out what they have in store for your day trip! The surrounding is like a park and it has a great nature feel. The dining area is also very beautiful and offers good dinner selection. The staff provide excellent service. Our room has a fireplace but the...

In Inkaterra's case not so much a cliche but all too true for the major part of our stay. We arrived from Machu Pichu, which unless you have the agility of a mountain goat, is challenging and exhausting - but I hasten to add well worth the effort. The staff at the Inkaterra check in were welcoming but the emphasis seemed...

This is a great hotel and would get 5 stars, except for the price. The people who work here are great and attentive. We did receive an upgrade to a room with a fireplace, which was nice. The hotel did notice we had a booking error and contacted us via email and fixed it. The food was nice and the...

A little far from the center of town, so a bit of a walk from the bus station and train station. Not that one can really complain about walking in Machu Picchu. The trains go between the main hotel and the café, so you may hear them during the day. But the hotel itself is lovely, the food is fantastic,...

Great hotel in macchu picchu village of aquas calientes at base of mountain . Beautiful, luxurious grounds. Best meal in Peru . Short walk to bus station for ride to macchu pucchu. We had two days, one extremely clear. Second day mystical and cloudy. Used ideal southamerica for travel agent and all transfers, guides, tickets taken care of and perfectly...

I had such great expectation from Inkaterra after all the reviews I read. It's a great hotel, but you have to be prepared for what it offers. It's beautifully situated between lush gardens with hummingbirds and the river running near. The room are though small and the bathrooms even smaller. Our first room #30 was very dark, with a musty smell...

The most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed in! An Eco resort with 5 star accommodations though out. What a treat ( almost a mirage)after an 8 hour hike into Machu Picchu to behold this site tucked into the lush landscape where every year a few new species of orchids are discovered. The rooms, villas really, with fireplaces and outdoor...

Stayed here last week for 2 nights with my husband. We were initially considering the Sumaq, but after seeing other reviews on TripAdvisor we decided to stay here instead and I'm so glad we did. The Inkaterra might not have the largest or the most luxurious rooms (more on that below) but it has 12 acres of beautifully designed and...
