Friendly hotel, we could book at last minute and we could have our little pet Malteser dig despite they have a no pet policy. The air conditioner was working at high but didn't cooled down and the wifi was very slow. Beautiful view from the windows with the mountains. Ten minutes walk to the old town and restaurants and bars....

I have stayed overnight on a business trip in Baia Mare. The hotel was quiet and the room was clean. The room was ok for a 3 star hotel. Position of the hotel was in the center of the city. Breakfast was pretty limited in options. Overall good buy for the price

Hotel Rivulus Baia Mare is very clean, has a big bathroom and a balcony. We had a huge bed (2*2m), and a balcony with a decent open view. Excellent position- right in the town center, close to many shops.

This is a three star hotel in the middle of the city where we stayed on the last leg of our Romania tour. We had a room on the first floor that was located in the rear. Shower was tiny. Comfortable double bed. Dinner was excellent with folklore dancing. Hotel décor is a bit drab. Service was good.

For 3 nights we had a great view from the room with balcony, wi-fi, good airco, and a included Romanian breakfast. It was worth the stay, I would go back if I visit Baia Mare again. They could'nt help us with the touristic part, but they gave us a map and show the way to the touristinformationplace.

I was booked into this hotel for a conference and left after 1 night. The entire place is very very smoky. The rooms stink, and all your clothes and hair will smell of it. In addition, the toilet had not been properly cleaned in my room... The only real positive was the free wireless internet. Only 10 minutes away is...

Great hotel in a very interesting city. Great food and service. Clean room, good location. A nice surprise. Baia Mare is not used to tourists and that made it a real delight. The attractions include an open air ethnic village, a couple of museums in need of renovation, several beautiful churches, and an open air market that was great. Friendly...

“- the highest floor gives a greater view. (There is an elevator) - squareside has sun in the morning, not in the evening, so it's less hot.”
