This place is beautiful to escape the world as there is only WiFi after 7pm. If you are a person that needs AC and WiFi all the time then this is NOT the place for you. The rooms are beautiful and either have sea views or savannah views. The only problem is the noise of the other room if you...

Finding out there was only electricity from 6-midnight and WiFi, only at the bar at 7pm, was a definite shock. I had a room that was on a raised platform, but the bathroom was downstairs. That made it difficult to use after the 12 o'clock, lights out. The bathroom walls didn't reach its roof so when using it you felt...

Fun tents with outside bathroom, perfect for just being in nature and enjoying each others company. Beautiful setting, clean and lovely! Super place to get away from it all. Good food and easy trip into Saint Louis along the salt flats and seeing the Pelicans and flamingos

Bugalows awfull, bathroom without doors, no AC, no electricity during day and later during night, restaurant offers one menu, not a trace of fish or seafood. Simple terrible place with only one nice thing which is beautiful senegalese nature. No wifi, no good internet services from local service providers.

We stayed here after seeing the poster and brochure in their partner hotel, Hotel Siki, in St Louis, so it seems appropriate to compare the two on some aspects. Pros: Ocean et Savanne's location is really beautiful and feels way more remote than it actually is - being less than 45 minutes from St Louis. The cabins and grounds are...

We had an excellent time at this hotel. It was a great place for a family trip and was a perfect way to spend a few days. That said, there were a lot of little things that keep this from being a top level resort. The facilities were five star, the staff ranged from 2-5 star, and the food was...

Wonderful environment, maybe the best beach area in Northern Senegal. All-wood rooms on poles, with abundant water in the shower but electricity only in the evening. The whole place looks like willing to be in the luxury market but falling short at some points. Actually I was about to rate with four dots this place, but having to use a...

Travelling off-road you get to see and to find the most amazing places. This also goes for accommodation. Recently in Senegal I stayed at Ocean & Savane; If you did not intend going there I think you would drive past. A small wooden sign points the way from the dusty road you are driving along and a couple of kilometres...

We stayed in a chalet for one night as we wanted ensuite facilities and therefore did not want to camp here. Our chalet was spacious as was the bathroom. The electricity is switched off during the day and comes on at around 7pm. We accept this but it was disappointing to get up at 6.15 for our early start (which...

Great place, beautiful beach, good facilities. I would certainly recommend it to friends. However, one caveat, they did a terrible job with our reservation and our bill. We made reservations for three tents but when we arrived we were told that only two were available. We made do, and had some people sleep on the floor. However, when we checked...
