I found this hotel excellent for its value. The staff were very accommodating, the home made jams and organic breakfast was perfect ... it is quiet and the staff were very friendly. Also the owner greeted us herself and talked to us about srilanka. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel is in an excellent location walking distance to the lake and temple of tooth. Friendly polite staff. Breakfast was good. We had to leave early for a day trip to sigiriya one morning so the staff packed our breakfast to take with us. Laundry service available. Staff also helped us with questions we had re train to Ella.

I stayed here for two nights. The location is very convenient. It only takes about 10 minutes to walk to the lake and the Temple of the Tooth. There are lots of food options close by including a good ice cream place. The hotel is on a busy road so it's quite noisy. The beds are comfortable and there is...

My 2 nights at Sevana City Hotel will be always the memorable one. I loved their classy touch in everywhere at this hotel. Very well decorated and managed by the owner of this hotel. Here breakfast is complementary and you will definitely love to taste the homemade jams with bread for breakfast and with smiley poached egg :) You'll feel...

We were met with some really friendly faces at the reception. The staff was courteous, polite and ever so helpful in making your arrangements for us. The breakfast layout is clean and simple. The rooms are done up well and the bathrooms are neatly maintained.

My daughter and I stayed at Sevana after arriving from Colombo by train and then heading to Galle. There's a lovely story to this property - it used to be the family home but has been thoughtfully converted with attractive contemporary features. Our rooms had a great outlook over the town and hills. And most attractions are in easy walking...

The hotel was well located, a short walk to Kandy Lake and the Temple of the Tooth Relic. It is on a busy road, you may need ear plugs if you're a light sleeper but we found that the noise of traffic died off by the time we were heading to bed anyway. The bathroom seemed new, good temperature and...

We stayed here for 1 night before heading out to Ella by train. The staff is very welcoming and friendly and even arranged a tuk tuk for the next day to take us to the Peradeniya train station to catch our train. The hotel is walking distance to most sites, activities and restaurants in Kandy.

We stayed here for one night before we embarked on our train trip to Ella. I booked a superior guest room, it was really clean with good quality linen A/C and a brand new fitted wetroom. We paid £37 for a night here and it exceeded my expectations, this is a great place to crash if you are looking for...

This hotel is not plush, it's a guest house run by a Sri Lankan family who also live here. However the location is superb for all the main attractions in Kandy, the rooms are clean, the en suite had a really good shower and there was a little seating area too. We booked a superior room with air con which...
