Full of beetles (full of bright red blood) living in the mosquito net. Had to share bed with brother. Excellent staff, truely brilliant but we had a bad experience with the room. The room also had mould and the floors were slippery. They had a lovely breakfast and they hung my wet clothes in the sun whilst we were out...

Found this place in lonely planet book Good rooms with mosi nets. Didnt opt for ac and fan was just fine. The dinner was the best i had had in sri lanka. The host was very professional and helpful providing bike and arranging tuk tuk to bus terminal.

This place grew on me. I had come from Anuradhapura where the guest house and room were all white and neat, and arrived at Leesha where it was raining and rain caused the entrance way and alley through the facility to be a muddy path. The guest rooms (5 on the ground level, and 2 above, I think) face a...

Leesha is a very basic but clean and friendly guesthouse. The entry is a bit of a building site but the rooms inside are spacious and spotlessly clean. It is on the side of the road so if you were at the front there might be traffic noise. Our room was clean and with really comfortable beds. The bathroom was...

Excellent food, good price for the room and very helpful hosts! Bike hire was so useful and cheap at 300Rs per day! We arrived and hadn't booked anywhere and we were lucky to stumble across Leesha through a German girl we met. This is luxury for backpackers!

Great guest house currently expanding largely due to their current popularity. Staff very helpful with excellent English. A 15 minute walk from bus station at the centre of town but the owner helpful with transport and local info.

Leesha guesthouse is filled with backpackers. The place is run efficiently. Staff are helpful. They rent bikes for the visit of the ruins, or can help you arrange a tuk tuk. Rooms are basic and clean. Don't expect a home-like feeling but it's a convenient and good value place.

We stayed here for two nights during August. The home is located around a 10 minute tuktuk ride from the main train station and this trip should cost you around 250lkr (although Upali offers to pick guests up free of charge). We stayed in a double room with air con. It was very clean and tidy with a mosquito net....
