Had done the booking through a Holiday Planner, did not have much expectations, and did not care much as it was only night in Sigiriya. Was very pleasantly surprised, very well laid out property, nicely landscaped and nice little cottages. Spacious and very well done, gave a very nice feel of a village. The dining area was very good, spacious...

Loved the place. Great view of sigiriya rock from the pool area. Nicely built cottage and feeling of nature embracing you. Recommend spend couple of days. Close to local tourist spots. Old country feeling with great buffet spread. Beware of monkeys visiting your tables though

This is the first hotel I have ever stayed where I have had to purchase water with my evening meal. I would have thought this was a standard service but apparently not with this hotel group, very disappointed and for this reason I will not be returning...

All rooms are on ground floor only, in separate blocks in the gardens. Nice restaurant and bar, with a view of Sigirya Rock beyond a very nice outdoor pool. Staff were very helpful, and room cleaner made your bath towel into the shape of an Elephant, very artistic. Situated only ten minute drive from the rock.

The recent two night stay at Sigiriya Village with the family made my vacation unforgettable. Despite the full occupancy, the rooms were ready to check-in sharp at 1400 hours and the receptionist found the time to do an enriching demonstration. The evening traditional drums (not sure for what) were entertaining and so much blend to the forest songs. The dinner...

We stayed 2 nights in the hotel. We found it comfortable, nice room (a little cottage) with big bed. Very nice surroundings, lots of nature (inc monkeys jumping on our roof and lizards close to the swimming pool) Food fine, nothin special yet everyone could find something for themselves) Stuff very friendly! Our 3,5 year old girl was treated very...

The room was old and dirty. Bathroom and linen looked old and unclean, with little or no attention paid to improving the room decor. The TV was small, no reception and had limited channels. No Wifi in room. The food was ok, but the area is full of flies during meal times. One friend got diarrhoea on the first day,...

One of the worst experience in so called 4* property. Hotel staff was so uncourteous that on checkout the manager has lied about the room towels and other linens got dirty which wasn't belongs to our rooms. Even he was not able to prove that those were belongs to our rooms and still asking for the money. Service was very...

Great location for visiting Lion Rock. Wonderful selection of food. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Spa on site with massage and delightful swimming pool where you have a view of Lion Rock and can watch monkeys jumping from the trees! Would definitely recommend!
