So glad we stayed in the tree house -- a very unique experience. Though it's a small space it's very cleverly designed to have everything you need, and it was very pleasant sitting on the balcony listening to the birds, watching the squirrels, and looking at the pool and the ocean through the trees. We had dinner by the pool... More

the resort itself with the pool, the treehouse we stayed in and the staff was really really nice! very good service as well. but if you want to go somewhere, you always have to walk alongside the busy a2 road or take a tuk tuk to the other side of the city where the good bars, restaurants and beaches are located.... Stayed in Tangalle for 2 nights, and was thoroughly impressed with the room quality, friendly hospitality, attentiveness of staff, and cleanliness - both of the impressively well-kept grounds and our A/C room (Wifi too) Team welcome from first to last minute, welcoming us with drinks, great breakfast buffets and superb cooking, whilst also organised a cheap yet delightful one-day trip... Some frind of us recommended us this place, so we went directly to it. It is a little bit far from Tangalle city (where there is not specially much), and on the oposite site of the beach/tourist area around Madilla Road. But again, nothing a Tuk Tuk can't do! The place itself is beautiful, and some workers where constantly taking... More

We were really looking forward to our stay in an Eco Villa that had been booked a couple of months ahead. However, upon arrival were told that some repairs were being done to it so we had been moved to a hotel room. The room was fine, with air conditioning and a good shower but not what we had been... Popular with tourists but not so well known to local travellers. We had an exvellent lunch here with a great view of Tangalle bay. A family owned and managed property, the owners' take pride in their ecclectic collecrion of rooms - from a tree house, to mud huts typical of village life, to standard rooms.

I stayed in the treehouse for a night and absolutely loved it. It was small enough to stay cool during the day, but not cramped at all. There are lots of outlets, and some adapters are provided in case you forgot to bring one. The TV doesn't work unless you are playing DVDs, but who really comes here to watch... More

This was by far our favorite place to stay while traveling in Sri Lanka for a month with a 2 months old baby and a 3 year old daughter. The staff is super friendly including the owner, the place had one of the best views by far over the bay and the food is superb! Best quality and service possible... More

The hotel was good. 5 min far from the bus station. Very good swimming pool, nice room with good shower and better breakfast! The beach in front of the hotel had too big waves, but it was only 10min walking to Goyambokka beach. The owner was very kind and helped us with any doubt we had. I would recommend it... More
