We booked a room with lake view. Was worth the money. You can soak in the tub while admiring the beautiful scenery. You have breakfast served in your room or have it at the restaurant. You definitely need a car to visit. Do check for any Taiwanese long holiday to avoid jams, which can be frustrating. I will visit again.

We drove through Taroko gorge from Hualien to the hotel passing through some of the most dangerous road in the world. This lodging was absolutely beautiful, well-decorated and modern - I would call it a hotel not a minsu. Rooms are very spacious too. We stay at room 702. Was a rainy day, misty with low visibility, until the next morning, the magnificent view explained the origin of the hotel's name! The room is big, stylish, very comfortable.
