I was "locked up" at the Jail House for a couple of days and found it superb. Clean and quiet but friendly (they have a cat). It has a different kind of vibe that's very palatable if you're up for something new and refreshing. It's down a side street close to everything (ignore the bad review posted, sounds like they...

The place is located in a deserted area, not close to the bus stop on main road, neither close to the beach, as the description says. You have to go down a dark street with loose dogs barking. There is only one bathroom for the rooms upstairs. There is no good vibe, I was alone most of the time in...

Nice location. Nearby the sea. You may find good food easier nearby. Unique theme of the hostel. Staff are nice, travellers can share in the common area, good wifi connection. The room is clean and tidy. Good to spend some days there to relax and drink Taiwan beer with other travellers :)

I Stayed in Dulan a few days and found this hostel simply the best. For similar price like others I had a really nice dorm room with new furniture almost for myself, well equipped kitchen, big TV in the living room.. There is a theme touch all over the place - with bars on the windows, prison cartoons on the...

This was definitely a hostel experience, not a hotel and thats what was so great about it. Very friendly staff made us feel at home. Would go back without hesitation. They had a washer and a clothes line and were within walking distance of the beach and an excellent vietnamese restaurant. A highlight of our trip because of the people...

“Mostly bunk beds, although we had our own small room with a bed and roll away and a balcony. One bathroom for the floor worked surprisingly well. There was another bathroom available on the ground floor.”
