I will admit, my new wife and I were a little concerned with a few of the reviews that Caracol had received. We chose to ignore them and go since it is a lot more affordable than other places. We could not be more thrilled that we came to Caracol and all the negative reviews are ridiculous. The food is... More

Where to begin! My husband dreamed of an over the water bungalow for our honeymoon, and trip adviser led us here, to punta caracol. We have had such a relaxing and romantic week, full of beauty, adventure, and the most attentive staff imaginable! From clean sheets and towels everyday, to delicious food, to kind and lively personnel, we love all... More

I have wanted to go to a "Hut over the water" in paradise my whole life. So for my 50th birthday I searched a top destination that I could do in a 5 day trip from Los Angeles. This place is amazing. The service is top notch. You are greeted by a staff that really cares about you having the... More

While this is not the St. Regis on Bora Bora, it is a lovely and unique location to spend a few days. Accessible only by boat, the bungalows, reception, restaurant and common areas are connected by bridges. The bungalows are rustically attractive, more importantly, they are COMFORTABLE. Good quality KING BEDS, thick lounging mattresses on your private deck (with swimming... More

Beautiful location and quaint huts over the water. Minimal amenities make it a relaxing and quiet location. The snorkeling around the hut had beautiful coral and baby fish. There is a resident eagle ray and several skates and sting rays. The water is very warm which made it easy to stay in for a long time. They have kayaks that... More

Being the most secluded over water bungalow my wife and I have ever stayed at (and the fact that only three rooms were occupied during our stay) the overall feeling was surprisingly intrusive and crowded. Beside the fact that all the guests where placed in adjoining rooms, very poor room standard (especially the bathroom), the lack of wifi in the... More

We spent three days of our honeymoon in this place and it just amazing! Food, activities, staff, view and company are amazing. You can rest, read a nice book, do snorkels, see a dolphin and much more: a must if you are in Costa Rica or Panama! The chef offers every day a different menu reach of local food or... More

We had a wonderful trip to Punta Caracol. The staff was great, very accommodating, and the food was great. We enjoyed the snorkeling around the hotel and our daily excursions did not disappoint. The hotel could use a little sprucing up and the bar was a bit skimpy on options but we really had a great time. It is so... More

This was an experience of a lifetime- to sleep in these rooms right on the water! We went in the rainy season, so we got just that- lots of rain, but it was still a fantastic time! The rooms are open air, so we felt like we were sleeping right on the ocean. We snorkeled, kayaked and relaxed. It was... More
