This is a small, quaint hostel off of the beaten track, about 8 to 10 minutes’ walk from the main street. This is the second time I’ve stayed here. Just as before, I found it to be adequate accommodations. The rooms are clean, the Wi-Fi is strong, and the staff are generally quite helpful (although they are not always available...

I’ve travelled a lot in my life but never before I’ve seen owners/managers of a hostel being such noisy, drunk and ignorant as staff in Hosteluego. They have a sign in their reception area saying, that all party must by gone by midnight, however, this apparently does not apply to the owners as they break their own rules. It’s 4...

I stayed there four nights. It's a really charming place to look at, and I definitely enjoyed that. The room I was in was roomy with plenty of light. They moved me into a dark and gloomy room for the second night as part of the water damaged ceiling in the room I was in needed repairs. The third and...

First often employees are hard to find Secondly the kocation is not great Third there internet was down for two days, which can happen, but they claimed it was a problem everywhere on the island due to holiday traffic. This was not true as my friend had no problems at his hostel. Eventually the second day they called their tech...

“dorm next to kitchen does carry some noise, no big deal though.”

“Rooms upstairs will most likely be more quiet”
Gabrielemile, 17 Apr 2015 | Read review
“: Try not to get the dorm rooms near the bottom front because of the road noise and sounds of the door and drunken surfers coming in at 2a.m. or going out to catch some waves at 5a.m…. Also, the best breakfast on the island and pretty good pizza can be found just within a 5-minute walk, just up the street (you can’t miss the light-brown lacquered/stained wooden building on your right, just before you get to the main street).”

“as far away from the manager's room as possible...”
filipfc, 17 Mar 2014 | Read review
“The back rooms are quieter. I was across from the kitchen, but the noise level was all right. The front room on the left was noisy because of the lounge, and it was a gloomy, crowded six bunk room. The others I can't speak to.”
