Beverly's Hills is a really pretty place to stay. It's just off the coast and the accommodation is great - we stayed in a twin room that was absolutely beautiful. There were quite a few tourists on the island, but they all seemed to stay in the cluster of hostels at the port, so we were the only guests at... More

This was our third place to stay in old bank and by far the best. The tropical gardens felt like you were immersed well away from old bank and they were beautiful, birds feeding and many red frogs to be seen. The wooden huts were great and fitted into the gardens well. Simon and Sandra were great hosts, they left... More

When we got to the island we went round a few of the places looking for a room and this was our favourite by far. The grounds are made up of a beautiful tropical garden and well built bamboo huts that fitted in to it perfectly, we loved it. We saw red frogs and gorgeous birds, hung out in the... More

This could be a wonderful place but things are rotten and not clean. Beds are tiny, rooms are very small. Nothing is working well: ventilator, showers, toilets. The open kitchens are so dirty I won't describe here. For about 40 Dollars including taxes this place is a bad joke. Staff is friendly, but owners like to sleep long and are... More

We didnt stay a night in Beverlys Hill but had contact to the owner or manager Simon. He is a very nice guy who knows the Island well and has some good tips for you. If you are looking for a cheaper stay you should definately take a look at Beverlys.

Simon and Sandra's beautiful hostel/hotel on Bastimientos was the best place we could have possibly started our trip. The entrance and the grounds were fascinating and spectacular. We spent 3 nights in the attic room which has screen windows and new mosquito netting with its own beautiful deck down below from which to watch beautiful tropical birds and spend relaxing... More

Fantastic little guest house over looking the sea. Nestled in beautiful gardens surrounded by wildlife, lots of red frogs, butterflies, birds. Simple accommodation but beautiful chill out area. Definitely would recommend to others seeking peaceful sanctuary in Bastimentos

We really enjoyed staying in this hostel , a mixture of lush tropical gardens & clean well kept rooms . we were in a double with the shared shower & a small but adequate kitchen. Sandra organised an interesting tour ( i think with Tio Toms ) & then had a super steamed fish dinner for when we returned .... More

This is the place for nature lovers at the edge of a little town. The tropical garden is full of red frogs which find a protected shelter on the grounds and you can spend bird watching all day. Rooms are clean, quiet and overlook the bay. Hammocks on the porch and in the community area. Bastimentos is for nature lovers... More
