Our time at Casa Cayuco was an experience we will all never forget. My son is sad when he now sees postings on Instagram because he "just wants to be back there". This place had everything. It had amazing active adventures which we enjoy and had cultural experiences that were

We visited Casa Cayuco in March 2018 and spent a glorious week on the property. Our family agrees that it's the best place we have ever stayed, and just may be the first to entice us back for a return trip. It's the perfect combination of ocean and jungle that gives you exposure

The only bad thing about Casa Cayuco Eco-Adventure Lodge was having to leave it. There is no way it could have been better. Our whole family, 14 in all, loved everything about it, and Dave and Suzanne made sure that this experience will remain in our hearts forever. The staff

We spent a glorious few days at Casa Cayuco in December & January. We were a large family group -- 8 adults and 6 kids with grandparents to grandkids. None of us had ever been to Panama so were not sure what to expect. This trip exceeded all expectations. Dave and Suzann and

Hello! It’s a long story, but Casa Cayuco hasn’t been sold and hasn’t changed ownership. Still operating as it has for the past 5+ years. No changes in sight :) If you have additional questions, feel free to email us at info (at) casacayuco (dot) c o m - (TripAdvisor doesn’t allow us to post emails for some reason) - thanks!

Hi Vincente, Congrats on your upcoming proposal! We've facilitated many proposals in the past. Some have been done on our private dock, some have been done on a sunset boat ride and some have been done on secluded beaches where one of our captains can take you via boat with champagne in tow :) If you have any additional questions, please don't hesitate to email us at info@casacayuco

there are not screens on the windows, however, there is a mosquito net around the bed, which works very well. There are not many bugs because the ocean breeze keeps them away. dusk and dawn are the times of day when the no see-ums come out, but only on the beach. Not an issue on the dock though. We were there 1st week of September and the weather was perfect. August and September are the driest months. July may have more rain- remember, this is a rain forest. The beach adjacent to the lodge is pristine and one of the most beautiful I have seen. There is a reef a short swim out with great snorkeling and the Zapatilla's are a short boat ride away- Part of the marine national park. it's a lovely place!

Hi, are the cabins air-conditioned? Thank you!
Hi YP76301! No air conditioning. All cabins are open air and come equipped with ceiling fans and cool ocean breezes :) Cheers!

Hi Renee, Thanks for your questions. October is historically is one of the best weather months of the year - meaning the sea is calm and clear and there is usually very little or no rain. Days are hot (highs in the mid 80's). Temperatures at night are always pleasant (mid to low 70's). All of our cabins are open-air with ceiling fans and sea breezes. There are definitely bugs as our property backs up to primary rain forest. That being said, most guest don't have issues with the bugs and there are no dangerous bugs or other creatures on the entire island. Being on the beach also minimizes the bugs throughout our property. All cabins at Casa Cayuco are also equipped with bug nets with ceiling fans located inside the netting. Casa Cayuco definitely isn't for everyone. If AC is a deal-breaker, we can recommend a few other great places in the area.
