Best ice cream and we went to two on the island. The shop is adorable with a few island treasures, but also a beautiful fish tank. As we walked in I was told it was all handmade ice cream and I believe it was the owner who served us and he was very pleasant! Prices are a little high, which...

I stayed at the hostel when it was called Nirvana Hostel at the beginning of 2013. It has a nice relaxing area and is nicely decorated. However, the rooms do not keep what was promised. There is much better value for money in other parts of the town. Walls were only wooden in the room we stayed and you could...

Don't stay here unless you really need to save money and don't mind bad service or (for girls and women) sexual harassment. (A side note: Holy Cow Hostel is the SAME as Nirvana Hostel. I have no idea why the same place has two names..) I was on a budget during my last trip to India, so I stayed here...

So if you like staff with attitude and to reuse bed covers that have not been washed and smell then this is the place for you!  The only reason I give the service a "poor" rating instead of a "terrible" one is that there was one gentleman there who was most helpful and did not act like he was in...

The advertised free airport pick up which was not free but cost 500 RS. Water was out for >24 hrs in my room. Be aware: Don't let them book your train, the front desk man needed to be reminded three times and lost three pieces of paper that I put my details on. Finally after they forgot it for hours...

We stayed at the Nirvana Hostel in Delhi for one night in July 2012. To sum up the experience in one word - horrendous. Don't stay here. As we were travelling home the next day all we wanted was a shower. This turned out to be wishful thinking as there was NO running water for the duration of our stay...

The room was so so hot and there is only very hot water in the taps. Air con broke and the guys did nothin about it. Also - there were mice all over the place. The room was pretty clean though and the service was at least very friendly. Just a shame the place hasn't been looked after.
