The Park New Delhi enjoys a central location favored by guests for its proximity to key attractions and dining options. Its atmosphere is generally found to be welcoming, though the decor has room for modernization. While the amenities receive positive mentions, particularly for food and location, some travelers suggest there's a need for improvements. Room experiences are mixed, with cleanliness and upkeep sometimes falling short, even as some guests find comfort in their accommodations. Service quality appears inconsistent, impacting perceptions of overall value, as several guests question the cost relative to their experience.

From the moment I arrived at The Park Hotel in Delhi, I was completely blown away by the warmth, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality of the staff. Every interaction was infused with kindness, and they consistently went above and beyond to ensure my comfort.

One aspect that truly stood out was their commitment to personalized service. As a vegan traveler, I initially struggled with the buffet since the dishes weren’t labeled with allergens, making it difficult to navigate my options. However, the moment I voiced my concern, the team took immediate action. By the very next day, all the food items were clearly labeled, and they even went out of their way to prepare special vegan dishes just for me. This level of care and responsiveness made me feel truly valued as a guest.

I owe this exceptional experience to three incredible individuals: Mahesh, the talented chef who crafted delicious vegan meals; Vijayendra, whose attentiveness never wavered; and Amit, who ensured every detail of my stay was seamless. Their dedication turned what was already a great stay into an unforgettable one.

Beyond the outstanding service, the hotel itself is impeccably clean, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the food is absolutely delicious. Anyone visiting Delhi would be fortunate to stay here. I cannot recommend it highly enough!

Staying at The Park Hotel in Delhi, reviewing the breakfast service here. Breakfast is included, and the buffet offers a mix of European and Indian items.

Pro tip—for excellent service, sit in the back of the restaurant, near the service station, for fast and courteous service. Tea and coffee are not at the buffet, but requested from staff. Harsh & Nitesh were quick to notice empty cups and offer refills, as well as whisk away used plates. Rebecca demonstrated wonderful support for the staff, as well as being a gracious host.

The Park is centrally located near the government center and commercial Connaught Place (Rajiv Chawk). It’s a pleasant hotel that is undergoing renovations so is likely to emerge as a more compelling stay than it is currently.

Very well located, staff good especially Anshika and Ruby who helped when needed. On Departure gave verbal feedback to Manager and chef.
The issues with hotel is that it is very old and needs updating. The wood panelling needs to have new shiny look. Staying in the residence was nothing special, no mineral water or welcome bowl of fruit.
The Marble bathtub is very deep and the shower wets outside floor. Bedside does not international power outlets. No charging point anywhere in the room.
The house keeping staff good and polite and efficient, especially Shaandar, who very efficient
The food is good but on the high side.
The serving staff should have a nice uniform instead of jeans/denim everyday wear.
Busy times they cannot serve as too busy clearing the dishes etc.
For Chef Singh, please make masala chai the old way. Machines cannot make Indian tea correctly.
I want to return there on 6 January 2025.

Yes Delhi is crowded with all Northern India because of the Kumbh Mela, so this time I stayed here, with a large contingent, for a conference, rather than at my usual hotel.

First of all, this is a three-star in most respects by global standards; run-down but already in the original not nice, with a two-star lobby and reception. The main issue for me is the maintenance, however, and here especially the cleanliness - general dirt permeates, and nobody wants to find predecessors' pubic hair in their toothbrush glasses. I had a new room, and some things were okay, but one never had the feeling of clean, except the daily-changed bed, and that's of course a lot.

But at the overly busy breakfast, if you wipe the tables with a napkin, they turn black. Every single time. Then the staff removes the napkin. I mean, what? Breakfast is barely okay food wise, and for the usual reasons, I recommend sticking to omelettes, coffee, and bakeries.

This is a very, very Indian hotel and it is a good thing that Indians don't care about foreigners anymore, but just saying. On the other hand, one gets plenty of AngloAm retiree bus tours, which is also not exactly pleasant. The ground floor space on Saturday turned into an extremely noisy, smoky, aggressive party zone for juvenile delinquent-type party types and girls with outfits that really require a pole.

The restaurant and other staff, except reception, remains nice. There is this pre-pay, extortionist attitude that is however generally Indian; a suspicion of the guest that borders on inhospitality. In the room, towels etc. nicely replaced, but the coffee for my Nespresso machine only once (also in a very dirty box), inspite of numerous requests. Keycards turned invalid on a daily basis, even if kept separately from the phone.

I had a very high-level room on the 9th floor, but facing the back - apparently all front rooms are specially paid (what?).

Location is good, at least it was for our purpose, and Uber service is smooth and fast. It's a strange place altogether, but I felt unhappy because of the lack of hygiene and the general attitude.

Except breakfast and location there is nothing in this hotel that justifies its price and the stars it boasts. It needs urgent renovation and stricter cleaning: carpets of stain-filled hallways, doors that binge, smelly rooms from the stenches coming out of the bathroom, not very clean bathtubs and sinks, toilets that binge... a nightmare. Couple that with the low courtesy of employees and the result is an experience not to repeat.
They changed my room when I applied, but it wasn't much of a difference. I was charged twice (card and cash) for a beer, which was already priced abusively, claiming that my card did not work (later I checked that it did but I could no longer claim); they refused to open a beer I had brought from the street when in the minibar they had no opener. They charged mineral water at an equivalent of €3 when in all other hotels we stayed in India (and there were 7) they put it free in the room. Anyway... judge...

Our hotel experience had a rocky start due to ongoing renovations, resulting in disturbances from drilling and construction noises in the rooms initially offered by the staff. However, Subhdra came to the rescue by attentively listening to our concerns and promptly relocating us to a comfortable room where we could truly enjoy our stay. Subhdra's quick response and hospitality deserve high praise.

Overall, the hotel had a pleasant and enjoyable ambiance. However, one aspect that requires attention from the hotel administration is the acceptance of tips by the housekeeping staff. While there's nothing wrong with offering gratuities to the hardworking staff, our experience was marred by some of them repeatedly hovering around guests, including ourselves, in an attempt to solicit extra money. This behavior felt awkward and didn't leave a positive impression, especially considering the hotel's location and the presence of many foreign tourists.

I had stayed on 19th and 20th February 2024 alongwith my Colleague Mr Ramesh from Mysore. We have been staying here over the past many years when we visit Delhi because of its location but this time it was a horrible stay. The first day we were allotted a room on the fourth floor but the moment we entered it had a very strong tobacco smell and so we requested for a room change which was done. Being late we ordered dinner from room service - the portions served were very meagre but we let it be. The next morning we saw a thin layer of dust on the table and the window sill which was very surprising. We complained at the Reception and went on for our work. When we returned in the evening we were given a third room but it was not the end of our troubles. The WC was cracked and the flush was not functioning properly. Next morning when we saw the table etc we again saw a fine layer of dust. The floor too in both the rooms was dirty. I found it very surprising because earlier when ever we stayed here it was always spick and span. Every time we complained they would change the room and say that the hotel is under renovation and so some problems are there.

Now if the property is under renovation then why not close it and complete the work before allowing the guests . There was no discount and we were paying the full tariff of 12k plus then should not the basics be in good condition. Being from the hospitality industry I generally overlook the minor flaws but this time the experience was really terrible and I would not recommend this property to anyone else.

The hotel was clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful, and they went out of their way to make sure that my stay was comfortable.

Special thanks to Agrim, Mayuri and their team for making lovely room decoration for my fiancés birthday on request. The decoration were vibrant and colourful and the balloons were arranged in a way that made the room look festive. The cake was beautifully placed on a table with fruits and chocolates. Overall, the hotel room decoration was well-executed and made the birthday celebration even more special.

I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking to celebrate a special occasion.

I reserved at The Park, because the was the hotel selected by Overseas Adventure Travel. We arrived three night in advance of the Overseas Adventure Travel group.

Given that we would be staying at the hotel for a number of nights we booked one of the larger, and presumably nicer, executive floor rooms. We paid a total of $854 for the three nights.

This is much more than we generally spend on a hotel in the US or Europe and we were expecting the deluxe five-star property advertised on the hotel website.

Sadly, when we arrived early morning on December 8, we were put in a room that smelled of mildew, had a old leaky shower, absolutely no closets or storage and was lined with warped, damaged, wooden furniture. The bathroom door was unable to close because of the warped wood. The room did not seem clean and was not at all welcoming. The linens and towels were not the “luxury” quality advertised. Among other issues, I opened the mini-fridge and saw it was moldy, the kettle leaked from the bottom so a whole pot of water leaked out. Given the late hour, and our having just arrived from our international trip, we slept in this unwelcoming room the first night.

When, late morning, we complained about the status of the room, we were offered a change to a newly remodeled room. The new room appeared inviting. Sadly, the condition of the room was not as it seemed. The air conditioning was not working, the faucet at the sink produced just a small stream of water and the shower temperature control valve was not working; the shower was either scolding hot or freezing cold. Additionally, some of the furniture was not put together completely (an arm came off a chair-it hadn’t been attached with needed screws), some of the electrical switches fell off the wall and the room was wired incoherently- with switches not controlling things where they would be expected. When we reported on these problems, we were offered a move to another old, unattractive unremodeled room.

We said that we did not want to move but wanted the room to be fixed so, that at a minimum, the air-conditioner and shower would be operable. We were told that it would be taken care of- we were away all day, but when we returned, no repairs the repairs were made. Our third night was again spent without air-conditioning or a functional sink or shower. We were finally transferred to an adequate room, with the help of our guide when the Overseas Adventure Travel trip commenced.

We requested a reduced rate for the discomfort and inconvenience we experienced. It was unbelievable to us that we were charged $285 a night, an outrageous sum, for such poor accommodations. The manager said no financial compensation was possible. She instead offered a free dinner, which we didn’t want and which was completely inadequate compensation for our discomfort and inconvenience.

We had dinner one evening at the Imperial Hotel, located just a block from the Park. It was truly a luxury hotel and we saw that for the dates of our stay it would have been only modestly more expensive. We wish we had stayed there rather than spending so much for a disappointing stay at The Park.
