We spent 3 nights at this hotel and really enjoyed the experience. The staff were friendly and the facilities very clean. The rooms do get a little noise from the passing traffic but we soon got used to it (it is India after all) The garden area was lovely. Breakfast was a simple buffet with basic western and Indian food...

So relaxing, heaps of character, really unique. Stunning gardens and a great restaurant. The rooms are cool and comfortable. The staff are so warm and friendly and Ahmed at the travel desk is particularly helpful and knowledgeable. Plus the hotel has lots of little corners for you to discover including a reading room and a cake shop with brilliant freshly...

We stayed as a family in December 2016. We booked late and had the 'traveller' rooms which are not in the main building that is shown in the picture but in an additional annexe. These are basic rooms and the bathrooms are not luxurious but the rooms are a good size and very clean. They are painted brightly but with...

A quirky place with a warm heart. We will return! We had the Maharani Suite with a 4 poster bed, bathroom and office/dressing room. It was a great place and as it was quiet we had a good run of the place. We ate in the restaurant on the garden in the evening by candlelight and had wonderful biriani and...

The rooms were simple, but the property was amazing. The coffee shop serves delicious cake (reco: date walnut) and the staff is amazing and helped us with everything we needed, including a day tour to several sights around Mysore, and a cab ride all the way to Coorg. Would definitely recommend for a stay in Mysore.

We had been to this hotel about a year back. Around 10 pm when the kids were playing we got a knock at the door by neighbouring room members stating that they were getting disturbed. We ourselves had an issue as entire night we heard snoring from another nearby room. Thus one can understand the implication of a erstwhile old...

We have been coming here in different combinations since 2005 and each year it gets better. Yes, there are idiosyncracies, but these are part of the charm, particularly in an age when hotels are becoming blander as they upgrade. If you like Neemrana hotels (we do - they are hotels which have taken an old building and restored it and...

We met at this nice place for dinner with colleagues. Great Ambience. Parking no issue. Lot of open space. Plenty of tourists visiting Mysore staying here. Drinks are great. Food is average and staff is stretched. They need training and support A visit will be remembered for its location and ambience.

Having read their website, we had such high hopes for this hotel - a heritage property, an eco profile etc etc. And indeed the property is exquiistely beautiful. But it is neglected - someone needs to give it an injection of cash and a sensitive makeover. Our room was grubby and dusty. We couldn't hang our clothes in the wardrobe,...

Lovely palace that has been turned into a hotel and has a real charm about it. Friendly staff and average value for money, but it was a delight to stay in a place that had history, interesting architecture and a social mission. Steer clear of their travel service as this is a total rip off and we got much better...
