Whenever i have some official work in fort area i stay in this hotel. Mercantile department is just two minutes walk from this hotel. The amount the hotel charge is decent enough for the AC room. Its difficult to find a hotel at this price. Don't expect much but it fulfills the minimum requirements. Breakfast is limited to just one...

We stayed at Hotel Windsor for one full week and loved it. Charming old building in a beautiful central neighbourhood. We had a lovely wooden furnitured room with a sunny balcony with a view to the street and a big palm tree. Welcoming and helpful staff, free good-working wifi, average but filling breakfast (make sure to go for the "Indian"...

Cheap and in a good location- 5 -10 minutes walk from the CST (central train station) , so it is easy to get around and see the sights of Bombay. I stayed here twice and the staff were friendly and helpful. Simple breakfast of omelette and bread is a nice start to the day. I would recommend this place to...

Located at walking distance from GPO in Fort area, this is a great option if you want to stay for a day or two near CST. The rates are quite affordable for dormitory area, staff is also very helpful and friendly. I stayed there recently during my visit to Mumbai for participation in Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon. This was my...

The Windsor Hotel: the name already sends your imagination away to an old colonial era which is still present and touchable in this harbor city... We got there at night, after wondering around the nearby streets surrounded by incredible architecture. The sweet and smiley staff welcomed us into this large 2 floors guest house. The customers are mainly long-term stayers...

The staff there is extremely nice and they even accepted dollars since we were out of rupees. The rooms are quite good, although not so clean. Breakfast if quite ok, but the best part is the location: 5 min s walk away from the central train, metro station and 15 mins on foot away from the Gateway of India.

Its like you are in a prison. We had a 5 persons dormitory for 1 nights. It was dirty on the floor and our bathroom was really dirty. We had NO hot water. The toilets are more dirty. You also dont get a blanket. It is the cheapest hotel I found in Mumbai but its too expensive. Just like the...

We stayed in Hotel Windsor Mumbai on our first visit to India and Mumbai. We arrived slightly earlier not a problem but if you want to feel at home and safe don't stay here Every time we left the hotel we chained our bags to the beds because of the area and knowing the staff loitered. Unfortunately the free breakfast...

The beds had stains on them and the toilet and shower was very basic along with the room however it is cheap so what do you expect. However after staying for a few nights we got used to it's basicness and its location was fantastic and we could have not asked for better. Not needing any taxis to get to...

Considering the location and the price which the hotel offers rooms , it is quite decent. Just 5 minutes walking distance from the main Mumbai CST station is a big plus. Two things that the hotel can definitely improve on : 1. The hotel staff can be more courteous. Some of them display arrogance and "don't care" attitude , although...
