Great hotel, staff very friendly and helpful. Excellent service. Small garden and pool. Highly recommended. Would go back again. Decoration in the older sections is breathtaking. Large room, great amenities.

The Shahpura House hotel in Jaipur was a very quaint and interesting hotel. Lots of interesting details in the old part and also a very good new restaurant on the roof terrace. We had a nice room with lots of space, and a lovely bathroom. The staff were friendly and we enjoyed our stay.

We loved this hotel where we spent 3 nights. Our room was beautiful. Everything is very grand. We had a lovely massage in the spa. Both a la carte restaurants were excellent especially the Indian one one the top floor. Breakfast was also very good. We would definitely recommend it.

We really enjoyed our stay here as did the other 38 people on our tour. The hotel is stunning, the decor is beautiful. Our meals were very nice and plenty of choice. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to their travellers. The staff were very nice also.

We were booked into this quirky Riad style hotel on a tour for 3 nights and were given a large room in the new section of the building. Alas the window looked straight onto a shanty tent which was 5 meters away perched on another roof top - so we had to have our curtains permanently closed as the poor...

Shahpura House was exactly what we'd hoped for in terms of a heritage hotel. Modern enough to have all the luxuries we wanted, but old and quant enough to get the experience of a traditional hotel. It's a shame the staff let it down. I know we're in India, and the staff needn't speak any other language than Hindi, but...

The hotel is very beautiful but it's quite loud at night. You can hear the street. There is a buffet dinner but also an a la Carte Indian restaurant which we just found by accident- would have preferred this for the first night as well.

It really is difficult to decide whether one is in a hotel or a palace. The traditional Indian decor is prevailent all through the building and all the rooms are very different. The food at the rooftop restaurant is excellent and the hotel laid on Indian music, dancing and a puppet show. We spent two nights here as part of...

We had a beautiful suite room which made us feel like royalty! The only niggle was that the air conditioning didn't really work. This didn't matter to us because it was not too hot, but might be a problem if you went during the hottest days. We also found a couple of mosquitoes in the room. The staff were very...

Let me emphasise that this is a review of a meal in the restaurant provided as part of a tour to the region. We were greeted outside by a dance which was great fun followed by an aperitif in a beautiful room. The meal was a mix of waiter service (for starter, dessert and drinks) and a buffet for the...

The traditional Rajput architecture, a mixture of Mughal and Indian, a facade with domes and frescoes. The house is a very fine example of Shekhawati frescoes and architecture.
